Our trip to Gardner Village

On Monday afternoon, just as I was leaving school, the phone rang, and it was Krista. She invited Mike and I to join them for FHE at Gardner Village. Every Halloween, they decorate it so cute with Witches EVERYWHERE!!! Krista has made a tradition with her girls, that they dress up in their Halloween costumes, and take pictures early in the month, so they can enjoy them through the holiday.

When Krista asked Hailey what she wanted to be this year for Halloween, she told her a cat, and that she wanted Aida to be a mouse. Between Krista and Lani, they got together a darling cat costume for Hailey, and then she found an adorable mouse costume for Aida. (the pink sweater just happened to be in her car the day we headed to Gardner Village, and it ended up being cold, so it kept her warm)

Isn't Aida the cutest little mouse you have ever seen?

Hailey was very impressed with this crazy pumpkin that had bumps all over it.

They had all kinds of pumpkins, we loved the ones made out of tree stumps. On Saturday, Matt cut down a tree in Krista's back yard, and she is going to try to make one of these. I'm sure it will be so cute!!!

They had witches doing everything, even one in a boat!

They had this old wagon that looked pretty rickety, but the girls really wanted to sit on it. We were worried that it might fall apart, but there was no sign saying "STAY OFF" so we let them sit very carefully on it.

There was this cute witch eating a giant hot dog. I think Aida was wishing for a bite!

Thanks Krista, Hailey and Aida for inviting us to go with you. We are hoping our other granddaughters will want to go with us too sometime.
