My fun project!

A few months ago, I was at DI, and I saw this cute little doll cradle. It was stained dark brown, and was in GREAT condition. I bought it for Molly, but wanted to wait until they decided what they were doing in her big girl room to make it match. Emily found the cutest fabric to do her a bedspread out of and took it over to Colleen to quilt it for them. Yesterday, I stopped by and got the scraps, and made a cute little doll quilt, and painted the cradle white. Mom and Lani are giving Molly a new baby doll, and I thought it would be fun to have a new cradle to put it in. Colleen made the baby a darling crocheted blanket and made one for Molly's doll too, so she is going to be set!

Molly LOVED the cradle, she tried out all of my dolls in it.

She really enjoyed making it rock!

Our newest granddaughter!

We just got home from the hospital visiting with Jamie, Emily and our beautiful tiny granddaughter! She is absolutely adorable, and we are so excited that she is here. Jamie and Emily are still trying to decide what to name her. While we were there, a nurse came in and asked what her name was. They said, "we don't know yet" She said that that is one of the most popular names, definitely in the top ten! I hope they choose one soon. She is so sweet and Molly is thrilled to be a big sister.

Our trip to the circus!

We sure had a fun weekend! We had our 3 big girls for a sleepover, then Mike and I took them to the circus. They were SO NICE! We were a little worried about keeping track of the 3 of them, so we borrowed Libbie's monkey backpack leash, that Josh and Merijane had for her when she was little, to keep track of Molly. (That girl can run!) They all did great, we had such a fun time. Click on the smilebox to see some pictures of our day. I got them matching shirts and they looked darling in them!

Two cute girls!

Jamie is working on finishing his basement. He invited Mike, Jordan, and Matt to come and help him work on it today, since they were all off of work/school. Matt told him that he tends for Krista on Friday's while she teaches preschool in the afternoon. Jamie gave me a call and arranged for me to watch the girls so Matt could come and help him. I met Krista at Taipan, where I picked up my new end table that was finally ready. The girls looked so cute! When we got home I had to take a picture of them, unfortunately, Aida bumped her head right as I was ready to snap the picture, so she wasn't looking as happy as she had been.

A busy weekend

Friday night, we headed to Jamie and Emily's house to pick them up and take them to the play at Hale Theater with us. We dropped Molly off at Jordan and Jamie's house to play while we were at the theater. The show was Over the River and Through the woods. It was really cute and we had a great time.

Saturday, mom and I got to go to a bridal shower for my cousin John's new daughter in law to be. I didn't know it until I got there, but Kristi's mom, was one of my friends from my BYU days. Linda was also a Home Ec major, and was in some of my classes, and Bonnie and I had a good time with her. It was so fun to catch up on what she has been up to.
Here is a picture of Linda and her daughter, Kristi, the bride to be.

Lani learned how to make these darling wet wipe covers, and diaper holders while she was in Texas. She got all the supplies to do them, and invited all our girls to get together and make them. They had such a fun time, and they turned out darling! (I can't believe I didn't get pictures of the finished product)

Lani tended babies while the girls worked on their projects, thanks Lani for the fun afternoon!!!!

September Birthday Celebration!

We just got home from a fun birthday celebration dinner for the September birthdays in our family. Stacy and Pierce were sweet enough to have it at their house. Everyone had a great time. They served breakfast casseroles, sausage, bacon, orange rolls, chocolate chip, blueberry, and raspberry pancakes, topped with whipped cream, bananas, syrup. nutella, and strawberries. What a spread, YUM YUM!!!
(If you want to see the pictures bigger, you may be able to double click on the picture and it should enlarge it, it works on some computers)

They had 5 tables set up with party favors
and fun balloons from Robynn.

Stacy was surely the hostess with the mostest!
She had everything under control.

They put the Jamie's in charge of pancakes,
and they did a great job!

Doesn't that food look delicious! It was just as good as it looked.
What a fun idea to have breakfast for dinner!!!
Thanks Stacy and Pierce

Good food, Happy people!

Mom and dad enjoyed the delicious meal!

Yum, Yum, that sure was good!

Molly loves her new doll from Gigi,
she brought it to the birthday party

Molly's favorite part of the party
was playing on the stairs.

Molly's birthday party

For Molly's second birthday, we all met at a park near her home. Jamie and Emily BBQ'd hot dogs and everyone brought something to go with it. We had a delicious lunch.

Kathy, Carissa, Lani and Gigi were there to help celebrate

Two cute cousins.

A quick diaper change and then ready for more fun!

Did you ever see 5 cuter faces smashed into one picture?

Look at these ADORABLE shoes Krista made Aida out of felt. She is AMAZING!!!

A close up of Aida (we only got half of her in the first picture and she looked so dang cute you had to see all of her!

Thanks aunt Robynn for my new wooden paper dolls!

Thanks Gigi and Papa for the new doll, (Oops, I missed the doll, it's in the stroller)

She got an awesome wagon from Grandpa and Grandma Sayer
