Baby Jack visits the hospital

Jack has not felt great for a while.  Merijane took him to the Dr. on Tuesday and he had an ear infection and bronchitis.  By Wednesday, he was not feeling any better, and sounded worse, so Josh took him back, and they admitted him to the hospital
His oxygen level was too low, so they put him on oxygen.

I picked up the girls after school and we went over to the hospital. Primary Children's is opening a new wing at the Riverton Hospital, so they had all kinds of fun activities for the kids to do there.
They had games, food and the Frozen Princesses.

Merijane came down and took the girls around so I could go say hi to Jack.
He was looking better, and when the Dr. came in he told them since Josh knew exactly how to take care of him, he felt good about sending him home with oxygen.

On Thurs. I picked up Hailey after school and took her over to Riverton to a volley ball clinic with Libbie.

I brought Gabbie home ,to give Merijane a break, so she could take care of Jack.
She is a funny girl, and quite a poser!

We took her to Leatherby's for ice cream, she LOVES raspberries and got a raspberry sundae.

She shared a little of it with Opi.

Fun with dad-MONSTER TRUCK RALLY!

Mike has meetings on Tues nights, so I picked up dad and we went and visited with Jamie's family
They are such sweet little kids, we sure LOVE them.

Then we went and had dinner with Jamie, Jordan and Logan.  Jamie made a delicious Chicken Alfredo Lasagna.  Amazing!!!
For the after dinner entertainment, Lexi and Logan did tricks.
Logan loves doing any trick Lexi can do.  He is hilarious!

After dinner, dad mentioned to them about a MONSTER truck rally that was coming to SLC.

They knew Logan would love it, so on Saturday off they went.

Those trucks were BIG

He was amazed at everything!

So many big trucks.

The tires were way bigger than Logan

It was SUPER LOUD!

One of the janitors thought Logan was pretty cute and let him help sweep.

Thanks everyone for making it such a fun day!!!

Hurst Girls for a sleepover

Lani's work took her on another AMAZING vacation, and she invited Krista to go with her to Puerta Viarta.  They had a great time.  Matt, being the awesome dad that he is, took the week off to take care of their girls.  We talked him into letting us have them Friday night and Saturday.  It was our ward talent show, and cute Hailey signed up to play a song.  She did GREAT!

Aida is quite the little artist.

Sophie too!

They love doing art projects at our house.

It's hard to see, but Aida made a bee, Hailey a lady bug and Sophie a spider.

The weather was nice the big girls rode bikes to the park, Sophie rode in the stroller.

They played for quite a while.

Sophie fell asleep on our way home and took a good nap.

The girls were helping me work in the yard and we discovered

some ladybugs.

They were quite friendly

Hailey and Aida enjoyed playing with them for quite a while, until they all flew away.

My crocus's are starting to bloom, Spring is on its way!!!!

Sunday was Jeffrey's 52nd birthday.  We invited he and Jen over for Chicken Cordon Bleu, hot rolls, rice, green salad and ice cream sandwich birthday cake.

Valentine night sleepover

Since we had the Bigs and Middles for a sleepover Saturday night, we invited the Littles for a sleepover on Sunday.  Unfortunately, Kelsi was sick, so she wasn't able to join these two.
Funny Gabbie always likes to sleep in the crib when she comes for a sleepover, so we pushed it over next to the day bed, so they could be close together.

They were up by 7:00 playing playdough.

They love to help make breakfast, Gabbie adds the pancake mix

Sophie adds the water

and they both mix!

Pancakes with strawberry jam and whipped cream, YUM!

Gabbie ate every bite.

We decided to take them to the Church history museum.  They have redone the kids area, and we hadn't been back to see what they had done.  They were doing puzzles while waiting for Opi to get ready.

There were fun things for these little girls to do.

They made temples out of blocks.

Climbed on the fun playground.

Rode the camels,

and drew pictures on a cool light board.

Afterwards, we took a ride on the train.

It was a lot of fun.

We ended our adventure at Wendy's, for frosties and fries.

We sure wish Kelsi could have joined us.  Next time for sure!

Happy Valentines Day

We hadn't had any sleepovers since Christmas break, so we invited the Bigs and Middles for a Pizza and game night sleepover on Saturday.  We made homemade pizza for dinner.

Since it was Valentines, some made them in heart shapes, others, just regular.

They were DELICIOUS!!!

We are thinking of opening a pizza shop and calling it Grammy's Girls Pizza.

Then we played Uno and Pit.  It's so fun that these girls are big enough to play games!

For their Valentine, we got them lunch boxes filled with snacks.  They were so excited about them.

For breakfast the next day we made pink heart pancakes, waffles, bacon, and orange julius

Yummy!

They all came to church with me and were VERY NICE.
After church they helped me set the table for our Valentine family dinner.

We had yummy soups, delicious breadsticks,

and ice cream sundaes for dessert.

Lani, started squirting whipped cream in her mouth,

and everyone had to try it

yummy!!!

Happy Valentines Day!
