My visit to Oregon

On December 20th, my sweet niece Tatia and her husband Jake,  added Simon and Gracie to their family.  When I talked to her, shortly after delivery, I told her I would love to come and spend a few days helping her if she would like me to.  She said another mom of twins gave her some advice, that was to gratefully accept any and all help that is offered to you, so she said YES!  I booked a flight for the first of February.  Pierce just happened to be in town recruiting at BYU and was leaving at almost the same time as I was so he gave me a ride to the airport.  It was so fun visiting with him.
I arrived at 10:00 at night, and these two were waiting for me.

We took them to church the next day and they were absolutely perfect!

It was the first time they had gone as a whole family.  (Max didn't make the picture although he did come to church with us) At church, I had so many people come up to me and say, "I can sure tell you are Tatia's mom, you two look so much alike" ( I had to get a picture with her before I left)

I made my favorite Chicken and Wild Rice soup.  When I put it on the table, the only one of the kids that was excited about it was Max.  I told them, anyone that was brave enough to try it, could make creepy crawlers afterward, but that you had to be brave to make the creepy crawlers.

Everyone of them not only tried it, but ate their bowl of soup.  Such great kids.
I LOVE these faces!

We made pretzels with the kids and I think they could open their own pretzel shop.
They were Amazing!

On Tuesday, Robynn came to join in the fun!  She will be staying for 2 weeks, lucky Grammy.

All too soon, it was time to pack up and head for home.  What a fun adventure I had!!!!

Little Red Riding Hoods

Last Friday night the Little's came for asleep over.  Saturday morning, they were playing dress ups and all three decided they wanted to play Little Red Riding Hood.  I had some red table cloths that used to be mom's, so we turned them into Red Riding Hood Capes.  They decided they wanted to make muffins to take to visit Grandma Cline.  She was sure excited to see these cute gals!
