Crawdads a plenty!!!!!

Mark and Jayna were invited over to their
friends for a Crawdad party. Angel, their friend,
bought 90 pounds of Crawdads, had them all
swimming in their wading pool in the back yard.
He put them in a huge pot of boiling water, then
added a few spices, and then dumped them on
the table. The guys just grabbed them off the
table and ate them up. It was lots of fun!!!

Stephanie and Andrew at home

Jayna, Corin, and I went to visit Stephanie and
Andrew. They have darling apartment, and are
getting ready for their new baby to arrive.
Stephanie has been making the cutest little
stuffed animals for a mobile to go in the crib.

Dallas temple trip and Garage Sales!

Robynn works at the temple on Fridays, and Mike and I got to go and do a session, and then some initiatorys for some of Dick's family names. It is a BEAUTIFUL temple!

After the temple, we hit a fun yard sell, that had all new baby stuff. We had a great time there!

On Saturday morning, we went garage sale hopping. Robynn's neighborhood has 2 days a year they can do garage sales, and today was one of those days. How lucky for me!!!! This is mine and Robynn's treasures from today. (good thing we brought the van!!!!)

Splish Splash Oliver taking a bath

Our next stop was a quick trip to visit Pam and Oliver. Isn't he a little doll? They were out in the back yard swimming in his wading pool. We enjoyed getting to see them for a few minutes.

Here in Plain-O'l Texas

We are now in Dallas! Our first stop, after a yummy lunch at Robynn's house, was the family history library. Robynn works there on Thursdays, so we went with her for a little while. We all snuck out early and went to visit Ricky, Becky and Brooklyn. What a darling little family they are. Here is a picture of Brooklyn in her big girl bed. She is going to be a big sister in just a few days, we are so excited for her!

Brooklyn's going to be a Big Sister!

We arrived in Abeliene about 10:30, and had a fun visit with Sterling and his family. We played a fun new game called Dicecapades. After the game, they took us out to dinner at the yummiest Mexican restaraunt called Abuelos. Here are some pictures of us there.

Abuelo's with the Abeline Clines! YUMMY

So Long, Farewell Midland, Texas

On Wednesday morning, we said good bye to the Midland Clines. We sure had a fun time with them and are really going to miss them. As we were packing up the van, Molly noticed Mike's hat in the van, and made him put it on.

Molly is one Darling Texan this summer

Scoot'n around Midland

Jamie bought him a sweet scooter to cruise around Midland on.

Jamie's Sweet Ride!

One of Molly's favorite things to do was to organize my wallet. Anytime I left my purse out, she was trying to get things in order.

What a wallet organizer Molly is!

They have a BEAUTIFUL pool at their condo. We had lots of fun swimming with them. Molly has water wings, and swims all over the pool by herself. She loves to jump off the side.

Molly LOVES birds, and so they bought her a cute little parakeet. She is very gentle with it!

There is a fun park not far from Jamie and Emily's house that we took Molly to. She loves the slides, swings, and riding her "moto" around the sidewalk there.

Slippery Slides in Texas are HOT!

All Dressed up and ready for Nursery!

We had such a fun time visiting with Jamie, Emily and Molly. We got to go to church with them on Sunday, and they had been asked to teach the Sunbeam class. I talked Jamie into letting me teach the class with Emily, so Mike and Jamie could go to priesthood together, on Father's day. This is adorable little Molly in her Sunday dress.

howdy y'all...we're having a rootin tootin good time in Texas

Wow, thanks to Emily's help, I have finally started a blog! I have been wanting to do it forever, but never had any idea how to. Hopefully, this won't be my only entry. We are excited to be on vacation! School is out and we headed to Texas to visit one of our very favorite granddaughters, Molly, (and her parents.) We drove to Albuquerque on Friday and stayed with Mike's aunt Joanne, and her husband. They were so sweet, they got up early and made us waffles with fresh strawberries from their garden, and served, McIntire wine, (grape juice that they made from their own grapes) It was very fun to get to visit with them. Sat. morning we took off early and arrived at Carlsbad Caverns at about noon. It was just a small detour, but well worth the few minutes it took to get there. We took the tour and loved it. We left there about 2:00 and were on our way to Midland. We arrived in Midland and Jamie and Emily took us to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse. It was delicious! It was so fun to see Molly, she remembered us, and was very happy to see us. She is soooooo adorable! On our way out of the restaraunt, we saw a stuffed armadillo. I showed it to Molly and told her what it was. Her favorite new word now is "ar ma dil lo." She says it so cute, and loves saying it.
