Our pumpkin patch

In the Spring, Mike planted a bunch of pumpkin seeds in a flower bed in our front yard.  They have been so fun to watch.  For some reason though, they haven't gotten big, they are only the size of large gourds.

I took all my plastic pumpkins and added them to the patch and it looks much better.

I did a "revive a wreath" afternoon to my sunflower wreath I had on the front of my house.  I removed all the sunflowers, and combined a wreath I bought at Sam's club that was just too small, but had great stuff on it, with my sunflower wreath.  I'm so happy with it!  I'm all ready for Fall, and the weather is actually cooling down a bit. Hooray!

Zachary Aaron Cline has arrived!

September 19th was a great day in our family.  Zachary Aaron Cline, joined Jordan and Jamie's family.  He weighed 8 lbs 10 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.

What a lucky baby to have these 3 as siblings.

Mike and I loved getting to meet this sweet little angel.

He has already made 5 trips back to the hospital to be tested for Jaundice.
We hope today is the last one!

Welcome to our family Baby Zac, we LOVE you!

Play date with Jen and Jeff's granddaughter Emmy

Jen and I have been wanting to get Savvy and Emmy together forever.

We finally found a day that worked and the girls had so much fun. They loved playing outside and are just the same size, so they had fun on the teeter totter.

They loved the swings, sandbox and trampoline.

They had fun in the playroom too.

We had lunch out on the patio before Emmy and Jen had to go.
Can't wait to do it again!

Savvy is at the funnest age, I think we've said that at every stage since she was born,  She loves
dress ups!  Jamie just bought her this darling one from Encanto, and she was thrilled! She loves to put on the ones I have here too!

Dad's 94th birthday celebration

One of dad's favorite places to eat was Burger King.  To celebrate his birthday, I invited all our kids and grandkids, and Lani, to join us at the Burger King in Draper for dinner.  Everyone was able to come except Molly, Libbie, and Jamie.  They let us reserve the play room, and the kids had a great time playing on the playground while the adults visited.

(Not pictured, Jordan, who was taking pictures, Hailey and Matt who left before pictures)
For Dad's birthday, we always like to try to do some kind of service since he was such a great example of serving others.  I was able to serve at the Welfare Square bakery.  We sliced and bagged over a thousand loaves of bread.  (there were 3 lines of us working)  They gave us a loaf to take home with us.
It was my groups week to clean the church.  We were tending Gabbie and Jack, and
they were so excited to go with me to clean the church, they were great helpers!
We did all 4 bathrooms, the primary room, the classrooms, the gym and the stage.

I'm so grateful for Dad's great example of service.
He taught all of his children to love serving others.

Baby shower for Baby Zac

I hosted a fun baby shower for Jamie and Zac

We invited all the girls in our family, as well as Lani.  Since we have 10 granddaughters, with their mom's and Lani, it was a very nice sized group.  Savvy was a great help opening all the presents. She was especially happy to see he got a elephant "lovey".  She still LOVES her unicorn and giraffe loveys.

We played the memory game and Emily and Molly tied.  They both hae very good memories!  We had Chineese Sundaes, fruit, and a delicious strawberry dessert.  It was so fun to be together and we can't wait to meet baby Zac.
