Libbie and Hailey's Primary Program

It has been about 13 years since I have had one of my kids in the primary program. It was so much fun to go as a grandparent! Libbie and Hailey both did a great job on their speaking parts, and sang so cute.

Hailey's vacation

Krista, Matt and Aida got to go on a vacation to Dallas. (well, it was a vacation for Krista and Aida, Matt had to take a class) They had a great time!!!! Robynn and Dick are AMAZING Hosts! Both Krista and Matt have said over and over, what a fun time they had with them. While they were gone, we were lucky enough to get to have Hailey for a few days. She spent a few days with mom and dad and a few nights with Lani. Our first night, we took her to see Toy Story 3 and we all loved it!!!

They had the funnest little play area right outside the theater. They had rockets,

There were trucks

and trains

Hailey is really good at her numbers. I have a fun number, puzzle game where you match the number to a picture with that many items, and a picture of two hands holding up that many fingers. She loved doing that game at my house and at Gigi's.

Hailey was a big help getting the treats for her Halloween party all ready to go.

Lani, mom, dad and I got to go to Hailey's preschool Halloween program on Friday. She was the first one in line in the costume parade.

She was so cute, she knew all the songs and actions. It was lots of fun.

The kids got to frost some cookies

Thanks for coming to Hailey's program Gigi and Papa

After the program, Josh brought Libbie to meet us up at the Children's museum for a fun afternoon. Hailey was very tricky driving 2 cars at once.

Lani came with us, and Libbie rang up the groceries that she wanted to buy.

Libbie slept over, and the girls woke up way too early, it was still dark outside. I had planned to run to the grocery store before they woke up, but since they were awake, they came with me in their jammies. They had the cart loaded with all kinds of fun things.

A few weeks ago, I found this darling baking set at a yard sale. The girls wanted to try it out today, by baking some fun shaped biscuits. They loved the tiny cookie sheet, rolling pin and cookie cutters.

All ready to go into the oven

Don't they look tasty? We put a little butter and strawberry jam on them, and they were delicious! What a fun sleepover we had.

Halloween Party

Tonight we had a family dinner and Halloween Party. I invited mom, dad, Lani and grandma Cline to come and join the fun. The girls all wore their Halloween costumes, Hailey was a spider, Aida a mouse, Libbie was super girl, Katie a dalmation, Molly was Dora the Explorer, and Abbie was baby Jaguar. They were so cute, but once again, had trouble all looking at the camera for a cute picture of all of them.

All ready to eat

After dinner the fun and games began. Fishing for treats is lots of fun

We played bingo

We made ghosts out of fabric and a little stuffing

Here they are all done!

Mike printed off some pictures of a haunted house to paint

While the big girls painted, Lani and Matt colored with the little girls

We ended the fun night decorating some delicious cookies that Krista made

Everyone had a good time and made some pretty tasty treats

What a fun time we had, thanks girls for coming!!!!

A bit of Germany, in Taylorsville

We hadn't really redone Mike's bathroom since right after we moved in our house, so it was long overdue. When we remodeled our kitchen, we kept the old cabinets, so Mike put a couple of those in his bathroom to give him some more storage space. He re tiled the floor in his shower, and then painted the bathroom. He did a mural on the walls to remind him of Germany. It turned out great!!!

There are some cute German houses on this wall (you can click on the picture to make it bigger so you can see it better)

He painted a windmill on the wall by the window

We got some new towels and

some new rugs to match

Mike used some of his birthday money to buy this fun clock to go in there.

That was just the right finishing touch! Nice Job!!!

It's Fall Break

Last week I got to go to Gardner Village with Hailey and Aida, yesterday, I got to go to a pumpkin patch and the temple, with Libbie and Katie, and so today, I called Molly to see if she and Abbie could come and play with me and Mike. Lucky for us, they were available! We wanted to go to Gardner Village to see the witches, but there was something going on there, and EVERYBODY was there, so we made a new plan. We went to Engh Gardens, where Krista had taken her girls and had so much fun. Since it was right by Hailey's house, we picked her up to join us. What a great time we had!

Molly the ghost

Hailey in a Haunted House

So many fun blow up things to look at.

There were lots of Haunted houses.

They had big skeletons.

Wow, look at all the pumpkins!!!!

Pumpkins everywhere!

Even more pumpkins!!!!

What a cute smile Abbie!

Smile ladies!

Look how tall Hailey is, but..........

look how tall Opi is!

The girls loved playing on the tractor.

Look at that big ghost!

When Hailey was here last week, the maze wasn't there. They had lots of fun playing in it today!!!

Believe it or not, in the middle of October, it was HOT outside, so we headed to Arctic Circle for ice cream cones. Emily met us there to pick up the girls.

Smile for the camera Molly

Hailey loves playing at Arctic Circle!

What a fun way to spend my first day of Fall Break!
