Our tiny girls are getting big!

Last Wednesday I was at tending Josh and Merijane's little girls and took this picture of Gabbie, she is getting so big!  When Krista's baby is born, she will look so grown up!

Little Kelsi is getting big too.  These two are the happiest, smiliest little girls ever!  We are so happy to have them in our family.

Thanksgiving

This year I feel especially grateful for all the blessings that I have.  I am so blessed to have such an amazing family.  We were able to get together with most of them on Thanksgiving, and there is such a feeling of love when we are together.  I am so grateful for my parents and the great job they did of raising all of us.  I am so thankful for my brothers and sisters.  What great examples they are to me.  I am thankful for Mike, he is so sweet and kind and always goes along with whatever crazy ideas I have.  I am so thankful for my kids, and their spouses.  They are all such awesome parents and trying so hard to do what they know is right.  I absolutely adore all of my darling granddaughters!  I feel so blessed to be such a big part of their lives.
Krista was so sweet to host our Thanksgiving dinner for 30 people.  Her new home has so much room for parties!  We really appreciate all the work she and Matt did to get ready for it.

We were glad to have Skyler and Kara to represent the Thiots that we always miss.

                                                                                                              Carrissa and Gabbie

I love Krista's kitchen with her huge island!

It was so nice to have so much room!

When I went up to check on the girls, they were hula hooping in Krista and Matt's room.

They were in a line waiting for their turn to try.

Then they all got inside the hula hoop, they are such funny little girls and they have so much fun together!

What a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner we had!  (Awesome to celebrate early so we could have so many come)

Last Saturday, Jamie and Jordan had a 3 hour layover in SLC on their way to California to visit Jamie's parents for Thanksgiving.  We were able to pick them up at the airport and whisk them off to our house for a quick lunch with the family.  Mom, Dad, Lani, Colleen, and all our kids and grandkids were there.  It was fast but so much fun to see them!!!

Everyone loved sitting around and visiting with each other for a few minutes.

It was hard to say good bye, but we know they will be here for Christmas, so it's only 1 month away!
Thanks for making SLC your layover, we LOVE you two!
Cute story, I was tending Josh's girls last night, Katie and Gabbie were already asleep, and I was laying down by Libbie.  She said, "Grammy, if you could go anywhere in the world where would it be"  I was thinking of Hawaii, Australia, or some fun place.  I said, I don't know, where would you go?  She said they had to write a story for school about where they would go and she put Georgia to visit her aunt and uncle. Then they had to write what they would do there and she put go in their back yard to watch Lexi do her tricks.  I thought that was so cute.  Our girls all just ADORE Jamie and Jordan.

I Love Primary Programs!

Primary Programs are the best, especially when you have adorable little granddaughters in them.  These past few weeks, I got to go to all 3 of our granddaughters Primary Programs.  They all sang their little hearts out, and did their speaking parts with no one whispering in their ears.  Mom and Lani were able to go with me to Molly and Libbie's which were on the same day.  (From one end of the valley to the other)

The little sisters wanted to pose with their big sisters

During Hailey's program, Aida kept leaning over and asking when it was her turn to sing.  She really wanted to go up!
Thanks for inviting us to all your programs girls, it was so much fun!

Mulan

This year, the play my school did was Disney's Mulon.  We invited our 3 big girls to go to it with us and they had a great time!

It's quite a project getting all 3 together these days, since Libbie is in Woodscross, Hailey in Midway, and Molly in Lehi.  Josh and Merijane met me at 33rd south, then we hopped I 80 and met Krista in Park City, and then Jamie and Emily dropped Molly off at our house, so Mike met us with Molly at Arctic Circle for dinner.

After dinner, we were off to the play

They loved getting to meet some of the actors.
Here they are with Mulon's grandmother and the dragon.

and of course, Mulon herself.  She is one of my best students and has a beautiful voice!!!

They had fun playing up on the stage after the play was over.

Then it was time for stories and off to bed.  We brought 3 mattresses into the living room and made beds for the girls.  Elder Banks read them a story before we turned out the lights.  It was very late, so they went right to sleep.

It snowed all day Friday, and during the night.  The girls helped me make breakfast for the missionaries, then they went out and helped the girls make a snowman.

Nice to have some strong elders to lift those giant snowballs up

Ta Da!!!!

These girls adore our missionaries!

Sewing with Molly

Emily has been doing a lot of sewing lately, and Molly has been very interested.  She came to my house for a sewing lesson.  She was ADORABLE!!!  She just kept saying "I LOVE sewing, I LOVE serging"  She had such a great time, and so did I.

We had to put the foot pedal on a box so she could reach.  She did such a good job and was so proud of her work!

A little pose of my youngest sewing granddaughter in her new jammies.

I'm so glad our little girls are loving the same things I love!

We met her parents at the new HUGE sporting goods store, she wouldn't change her pj's, she wanted to show her mom and dad.  What a fun day!
