Jamie and Jordan's new apartment

After church today, we took a trip to Orem to see Jordan and Jamie's new apartment. They are getting all settled in, and it is looking so cute!!!! Here they are on their front porch.

They are turning into quite the painters! Jordan painted the headboard on their bed and they sanded and painted Molly's old dresser, and with the new handles, it turned out GREAT!

Here's the new clock they just bought, and the cute kitchen table and chairs that used to be Krista's. (Grandpa Birks rescued it from someone's give away pile, and Krista painted it and recovered the chairs. With a fresh coat of paint on the table, it looks pretty nice!)

They hung the picture Mike painted them above their new couch,
What a cute apartment!

Grandpa Cline's Pony Express Rider

Grandpa Cline has been keeping himself busy with a few projects since Wanda died. Saratoga Springs, where he lives, is wanting a sculpture of a pony express rider to go somewhere in their city since it used to be a stop for the pony express. Grandpa decided to make one to see if they want to use his. He made this small one, then they use it to make a life size one, somehow with a computer to get all the calculations. We stopped by tonight and got to see how he is coming along. He started by making a sketch

Here's the finished, or almost finished product!

A close up of the sculpture

Didn't he do a great job! I hope it all works out for him to make the big sculpture.

Abbie's first sleepover!

A few days ago Jamie decided he needed to make one more trip to Texas to talk to a few of the people who had defaulted on their sales. Emily and a few friends from her ward had planned a Girls getaway to Park City, so we got to have Abbie and Molly for a sleepover. They were so much fun, and here are pictures of a few things we got to do with them.

Abbie was nice to play on the floor while I got a few dishes put away.

We got to take the girls to Aida's birthday party last night.

Katie really liked Abbie, she kept trying to hug her.

The 3 big girls have such a fun time playing together.

When we went to Mimi's a few weeks ago, we got a coupon for a free breakfast, that expired today. Mike just happened to remember about it, and so we took the girls with us and off we went. When I mentioned it to Emily, she said she hoped they were be better for us than they were for them the last time they took them out to eat. Luckily for us, they were!!!

Molly brought some tiny dolls to play with while she waited for her food.

Abbie fell asleep on the way in, and slept until right as they were bringing our check, She was the best baby there!

Molly was a very good eater today!

Last year Lani and her Young Women made some of these Be Mine signs. I thought they were so cute, so I ordered some for all my girls to do. It didn't work out that we could ever all get together to do them, so last week, Jamie did hers while we were here making pillows. I decided that the big sisters, were about big enough to start crafting, so I took one on Wednesday for Libbie to paint, and she did a great job. Then Hailey came to my house for a few minutes on Thursday, and I had her do one, and she enjoyed it too, and also did great. We got Molly and Abbie for a sleepover last night, so this morning I had her do the one for her mom. She is a natural painter! Painting is the messiest part of the job, but Molly was pretty careful to not get it all over everything.

Molly kept wanting to put the paper back on after we peeled it off, but we did finally convince her that it was supposed to be off.

All done, what a great job Molly! I'm sure your mommy and daddy will love it!

Hailey makes her Valentine plaque

Today after school, I stopped by Krista's house to see if she needed any help getting ready for Aida's party tomorrow. They had painted Hailey and Aida's room, and were just putting everything back together. There were a few things she needed from my house, so I took Hailey home with me to get them. While we were there, I had Hailey paint one of those cute Valentine plaques for her house. She did a good job, just like Libbie!

We went back to their house to finish helping, and after the paint dried, she put the vinyl letters on. You have to press really hard!

You have to be so careful when you pull off the paper, that the letters stay on the wood.

Here's Hailey eating a little oatmeal with her decoration on the table.

Be Mine Valentine

Tonight was my night to tend Libbie and Katie. I brought a fun project for Libbie to do. She did such a nice job of painting the wood!

After it's dry, you carefully rub the vinyl letters onto the wood.

All Done, and what a great job she did!

Doesn't it look great on the shelf of their new entertainment center? Goofy Libbie sitting in the new chair Katie got for her birthday.

All ready for Valentines!

I am trying to put pictures of my decorations for each holiday on my blog, so that next year I can just look back and see how I decorated, and not have to try to figure out where to put everything!
Last year mom and I got a heart berry wreath for Valentines, so I left out my berry centerpiece I have for Christmas, since it matched the wreath so well.

My piano with the cute new hearts mom and I found at Roberts the other day, and some of my other favorite Valentine decorations. I love the picture of our tiny Abbie!

My end table with pictures of some of my favorite people!

I love looking at my adorable granddaughters while doing my dishes!

Here's the table runner I made this year.

After Dinner Entertainment

Tonight we had all our kids over for dinner. After dinner, while we were cleaning up, the big girls went in our room to watch Bambi. Yesterday I hit DI, looking for some dress ups for the girls. I didn't find any cute dress ups, but someone must have been getting rid of all their Disney movies on VHS. I got 9 Disney movies, that we didn't have. I got Bambi, Pocahontas, the Swan Princess, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King I and II, Aladin, and Sword in the Stone. (I think we must be some of the only people left that still have a couple of VCR's) The girls enjoyed watching the new movies.

Before they left for home, all the girls got into their jammies, here are the 3 tiny girls all ready for bed.

Hanging out with the granddaughters!

Aida is getting really close to being able to stand alone. She looked so cute in this little outfit, I leaned her against the wall and took her picture!!!

Here is our little smiling Katie when we went out to lunch with her the other day. She is such a great walker.

Krista called just as I was leaving school Wednesday to see if Hailey could come with us to play with Libbie. (We get to tend every Wednesday night while Josh goes to scouts and Merijane works.) I usually call her to see if Hailey can come, but she doesn't let her because we don't get home till way after Hailey's bedtime. Lucky for us, Krista had a meeting, and so did Matt, so we got Hailey! The girls always have so much fun together.

I was trying so hard to get a darling picture of these two goofy girls, but they would NOT cooperate!

Friday afternoon, I called Jamie and Emily to see if they were in the mood for a date night. We hadn't seen their little girls in WAY TOO LONG! They were more than happy to let us come and play, while they went to a movie. Abbie is such a sweet and happy baby. She has fun in her swing, Molly loves to push her in it and really get it going FAST!

I love the cool things they have for babies these days. Here is a picture of Abbie in her Bumbo. She loves being able to sit up.

Molly also loves to sit in Abbie's Bumbo!

Molly is getting great at doing summer salts, and LOVES to do them.

Ta da!!!
