The Graduate

April 23rd was a GREAT DAY! Jordan graduated from BYU, he actually finished his degree in December, but since they don't have a graduation ceremony in December, the kids are invited to walk with the April graduates. The only sad thing, was that his wife Jamie wasn't there to share the excitement. She got stuck in California, she was planning to come home on Thurs. to be there for his graduation, but a terrible storm dumped 8" of snow on Donners pass where they have to come through. Pulling a horse trailer, it would be a little too dangerous to take that pass in a storm. We missed you Jamie!

I can't believe my baby boy is all graduated!!!!

Two very proud parents!!! (If you look VERY CLOSELY,
you can see the Y on the mountain above Jordan's hat.)

3 princesses jumping on a trampoline

All three of our big girls love to dress up. Yesterday, I hit a garage sale and got 4 very fancy dress up dresses, and 6 pair of fancy dress up shoes. The girls were thrilled!!! They are so funny, when I showed them the dresses, they could tell me which of the Disney princesses, each dress belongs to. (they were really just fancy dresses, but they were sure when they put them on, they became the princess) They sure had fun playing dress ups! Do you love what the trampoline does to Molly and Hailey's hair?

6 little girls and my tulips

Tonight, when everyone came for dinner, I asked them to have the girls wear the Easter dresses they had made for them, so we could take pictures in my flowers. This is the one week of the year, my yard looks AMAZING, and it looked even better, with 6 tiny girls in the flowers.

What are you thinking about Hailey????

Molly is at that age when you say "Smile" she really smiles!!!!

Aida was in a very happy mood, We got some great pictures of her!

Here's Katie, she didn't really want to pose for us, but we got a little smile out of her.

Libbie was smiling very cute, I promised her a pair of princess shoes if she would smile pretty, and she got to choose a pair since she did a nice job.

Abbie is such a little doll, we got some adorable pictures of her!!!!

Look who's got a job!!!!!

Yes it's true!!!! Jordan came home from his trip to Washington DC with a great job working for the FDIC (Federal Deposit of Insurance Corporations) in Albany, Georgia. He and Jamie are so excited to have a job and it will be an adventure for sure. We are going to miss not having all our kids close enough to come home for Sunday dinners, but we have already started a savings account for our trips to Georgia. I'm so grateful for free long distance and that Jamie is such a great blogger, to keep us up to date on what's going on with them. Good luck!!!! It's hard to believe our baby will be SO FAR away.

Morgan and Chase are married!

On April 2, Chase and Morgan got married in the Oquirrah Mountain Temple. It was a great day!!! After the wedding, we went to a delicious luncheon, then ended the day at their reception. Everything was SO NICE!

Aren't they cute?

Here's a picture of Opi and his 3 big girls at Chase's reception. They are so lucky to have such an AWESOME grandpa. He is the best!!!! He is a super babysitter, and has used his babysitting skills quite often with the granddaughters. They love him to pieces and he loves them!!!! I couldn't have picked a better grandpa for my adorable granddaughters.

Look who turned 2 years old!

My little niece Keelie was here with her parents Charlie and Mackenzie for Chase and Morgan's wedding. Her birthday was the day after and she turned 2 years old

Robynn had heard all about the Childrens Museum for the last year, and wanted to take Keelie there for her birthday. I grabbed Hailey and Libbie and we joined Keelie and her family and off we went. The girls were SO CUTE with Keelie, they just adore her, and had a great time playing with her there.

The girls had fun in the building area, they loved working the crane to bring the big blocks up to the top.

A little ride on a row boat

The girls loved having Lani help them play in the water

Here's Keelie with her darling bunny birthday cake,
all ready to blow out her candles.

Aida is getting so close to walking, she takes 5 or 6 steps.
It won't be long now!!!

On Saturday night, we went over to mom's house and the girls dyed Easter Eggs. Lani made these groovy garbage bag outfits for them to wear.

On Easter Sunday, we had 32 people for dinner, what a crew! It was a little cozy, but lots of fun. Jamie made some cute Easter cupcakes called Rabbit Hole cupcakes. Notice the bunny feet and tails, and the grass with flowers and Easter eggs in it. She is so cute, we love all her cupcake creations!!!!
