I LOVE Primary Programs!

The theme for the Primary Programs this year was I Know My Savior Lives.  I was lucky enough to get to go to all of our granddaughters programs.

They all sang so beautifully, and not one of them needed help with their parts.

It is so nice to be close enough to hear them share their sweet testimonies of the Savior!

The Little Mermaid

On Friday night, we went to see The Little Mermaid at my Jr. High.  They did an amazing job!!!!  It was the best play I've been to at Bonneville. Tons of my students were in it so it was really fun.

Afterwards we got a picture with the Little Mermaid herself, that girl can really sing!!!!

We LOVED Sebastian and Flounder

The eels were so fun, and two of my favorite students!

The seagulls were cute too!

Sophie, another of my favorite students, was Ursella, She was awesome!

It was such a fun night, thanks Krista for coming with me!

We took the 3 big and 3 middle girls home for a sleepover.  They didn't get to sleep till after 10::30 and were up by 6:30!  They made their own art project decorating plates, they did about 10-15 each.  Such funny girls.

The big girls were down in the play room, playing legos.

They built quite the little house.

After breakfast, they played for a while longer, then we went to the mall to check out the American Girl doll store with all of them together.  We also stopped by the Build a Bear, Lego Store and then chose matching earrings for the big girls and necklace and bracelets for the middles.  We ended the sleepover by going out to lunch and then dropped the girls back home.  What a fun time we had with these sweet girls!!!

Halloween Dinner

We had our Halloween Party the day after Halloween this year.
I made Chicken and Dumplings and it tasted so good since it's starting to finally cool off.

I had the kids help me make Halloween Cat cookies.  Kelsi LOVED helping!

Here's all the littles making theirs

Here are the middles working on theirs.

Now for the eyes and noses

While the cookies were baking, we had some games.  Jamie and Emily brought donuts on a string and the kids had to eat them without using their hands. Dad, Mike and Jamie were our helpers.

Very fun and messy!

Then Jamie was in charge of pumpkin bowling.  They had TP rolls to look like ghosts and mini pumpkins to bowl with.

Got um!!!

Grandma Cline, Jenny and Eric were able to come too.

Cookies and ice cream, YUMMY!

Halloween in Springville

We got to spend Halloween with Jordan's cute little family.
Jamie has been very busy the past few weeks making all their costumes.

Logan's coat was about the only thing she bought! She made his pants, painted his hat and made the decals for it, made Lexi's costume, put the spots on her shirt, made her ears, the decals for Jordan's shirt and his suspenders. She is pretty much amazing!

They invited us for Halloween dinner.  She made mummy bread,

eyeball meatballs

to go on our spaghetti.  It was so fun and tasty!!!

After dinner we went trick or treating, Logan was in Heaven!  He had so much fun, we kept asking him if he was ready to go home and he would say, More Treats, More Treats!

When we got ready to leave, we invited him to come home with us since they were coming for dinner the next day.   For breakfast, I gave him some chocolate cheerios, regular cheerios, and Reese's peanut butter cereal in a bowl.  He was very careful to eat all the chocolate cheerios and Reese's, and left the regular cheerios. What a guy!

He was great in Sacrament mtg, and was thrilled to find an emergency vehicle that he played with the entire time he was in nursery

He does love cars, and if they are fire trucks or police cars, all the better.

He did have fun microwaving the car.  Yikes!!!

Hailey, the musician

Hailey  is turning into quite the little musician.  She is taking piano and voice lessons, and has joined her school orchestra and is playing the violin.  Her piano recital was right before Halloween, and she played the theme song from the Addams family and dressed as Wednesday Addams.

Here's all the kids at the recital and her teacher.

She did a great job!

On Thursday, before Halloween, she had her orchestra concert.

So fun to see those little kids play their hearts out!

A trip to Gardner Village

For the last few years, we have gone to Gardner Village during October to see all the witches

This year it was CRAZY!  There were so many people!!!!

Love the pumpkin wall and these two!

We didn't stay long because it was so crowded.  We decided to go to a park and eat lunch and let the kids play.  It has been so nice to have such great weather in Oct!
