Boyd and DeAnne celebrate 50 years together

Tonight we were able to attend my Aunt DeAnne and Uncle Boyd's 50th Wedding anniversary. There were lots of our family there and it was fun to be able to see them. Tina planned a swimming party and dinner for everyone. (You can click on the collage, and it will enlarge so you can see the pictures)

Lots of sleepovers!

This has been sleepover week at our house. We had Hailey and Aida last Friday, then Molly and Abbie on Monday, then Libbie and Katie last night. They were all so nice, and we had a great time with them. I bought this cute tiny little glass tea set the other day, and Libbie LOVES playing with it.

Libbie was a little nervous to let Katie drink out of the tea cup since she is still a baby, but Katie was very careful

Hailey was a big help making pancakes for breakfast when she and Aida slept over.

Here's Aida playing in the playhouse

Abbie loves swinging in the tree.

Happy Birthday Jordan!

July is definitely birthday month at our house! Today is my babies birthday, how can he be 25 already???? He was such a sweet baby boy, knowing that he was my last, I enjoyed every minute. He didn't sit or crawl quite as early as my other 3 kids, and I can remember my mom telling me that if I would ever put him down for a few minutes, he would probably learn how to do all those things. Here is a picture of him on his 1st birthday.

Here are a few random pictures of Jordan as a little boy. I sure hope
that birthday #25 is a great one, and that he is having fun in DC!!!

Happy Birthday Mike

Mike's birthday was the day before I left for Young Women's camp, so I didn't have time to post these cute pictures of him. Before Jamie and Jordan headed to DC, Jamie taught me how to scan pictures on our new printer/scanner/copier! I am so excited to FINALLY have one, and sorta know how to use it. Mike's mom gave us a book a few years ago with pictures of her kids when they were little. There are some really fun ones, she spent HOURS AND HOURS putting it together for all of us, and it is a real treasure. Wasn't Mike an adorable baby? We had a fun birthday party to celebrate all the July birthdays on Friday, and then another one for Mike on Sunday. July is definitely birthday month at our house!!!

Final competition before heading to Georgia

Jamie and Scout had one final competition on Saturday, before Jamie and Jordan head off to Georgia. They did a great job and won lots of ribbons, here is one of the ribbons they won!

Not very many of my pictures worked, I got lots right before the jump, and lots right after, but this one almost shows the jump! Check out Jamie and Jordan's blog to see a video of their jumps.

Good Job Jamie and Scout, thanks for inviting us to your competition.

Abbie didn't really like wearing Molly's cowboy hat.

Molly really liked watching Jamie and Scout jump. She cheered VERY LOUD!!!!

He is such a sweet husband, and a darling dad, I love watching him play with his little girls. He was a big help to us on our kitchen remodel! Thanks Josh,
we LOVE you!!!!

July 6th, 2006 was another great day in our family. Hailey Nicole Hurst, our second granddaughter was born. She is such a sweet little girl! She got to celebrate her birthday twice this year. Once at Bear Lake, and a family party in her back yard. Happy birthday Hailey,

Here it is!

Friday Matt came over again and worked his magic. After he left, I told Mike that I think Matt must be our fairy Godfather. It seems he waves a magic wand, says a few magic words, and everything just comes together. He is amazing!!! He put bead board on the cabinets on the back of the bar, covers on the canned lights, added an outlet for the microwave, and installed the microwave, before we knew what had happened! Mike finished hanging the pendant lights and it is almost done. All we have left is the new black ceiling fan, and the crown molding, (when it comes in)

My kitchen is so bright with the new lights. The pendant lights over
the bar and sink are especially cute!!!

I LOVE all the changes we've made!!!! Mike has worked so hard, and has done such a GREAT job. I really appreciate him and all of our boys who helped make this possible! Thanks guys!!!!!

We LOVE Bear Lake!!!!!

We just got back from the funnest vacation. We rented this great cabin about 30 minutes from Bear Lake. It was really nice and had plenty of room for our whole family. All our kids and grand kids were able to come, and we had the best time ever. We can't wait to do it again!

We celebrated Hailey's 4th birthday at the cabin.

Krista got up early and had everything decorated so fancy for her Princess party.

She made the cutest princess cake! Blow out those candles Hailey!!!

It was fun to see our kids having such a great time just being together, even cooking dinner was a family activity. It was nice to have so much help.

Every morning Dan came around in this fancy truck to pick up our garbage. The last day, he took anyone who wanted to go for a ride, for a little spin, then let Jamie, Jordan, Emily and Matt drive it themselves. It was a crank engine, and Emily and Matt even started it! Pretty fun!!!

We spent 2 days at the lake. Some of the kids rented a couple of Sea Doos, and had a great time cruising the lake. Here's Emily taking one for a spin.

Mike was exhausted after two weeks of working on our kitchen, so he gladly volunteered to hold any sleeping baby while their mom's played on the beach!

Jamie had a great time on the Sea doo!

The 3 big girls ready to do a little rafting!

Thanks Jeffrey for letting us borrow your fun paddle boat!

Aida trying to fill up the water squirter

Abbie and Katie playing in the sand

Josh and Libbie just getting ready to take off for a ride. (Libbie chickened out right after we took the picture)

All of the girls loved playing in the sand.

Oh no Abbie, sand is not for eating!!!!

There were tons of sea gulls and Molly had fun feeding them.

Merijane all ready to ride!

Hailey loved riding on the boat!

Aida LOVED driving the boat. She did not want to stop! It was great because there were no other boats out there, they had the whole lake to themselves!

One of the mornings, right after breakfast, they put the 3 babies down, and put a movie on for the 3 big girls, and all our kids went out and played sand volley ball. It was so fun to look out from the deck, and see them having so much fun!

Dan lived just down the hill from the cabin, and had quite a collection of really old cars. He enjoyed showing them to us, and we enjoyed hearing all about them. He let everyone try them out, and the little girls loved driving them.

Good bye Bear Lake, we will miss you!
