Christmas 2019

The Sunday before Christmas, we had our Cline Christmas Party.
I made pulled pork sandwiches and everyone brought something delicious to go with it. We enjoyed visiting with Jenny and Eric, Stephanie and her family, Steve and his family and Grandma Cline.

The boys had fun playing in the play room

It's definitely cozy getting 37 people in our living room, but it works.

We always do a white elephant, and the kids love seeing what they get.

On Christmas Eve, we invited our kids, Lani and Grandpa Cline over for breakfast.
I made Bonnie's yummy Bacon and Egg breakfast casserole and Baked French toast and everyone brought something to go with it.  So much yummy food!

Afterward, we did the Nativity and opened the gifts from the cousins.

On Christmas morning, we went to visit our kids to wish them a Merry Christmas and then went to Lani's for lunch.  After lunch she did white elephant gifts for everyone.  Such a wonderful Christmas.  I love being able to spend time with our family and think about our Savior and all He has done for me. I am so grateful to Him!

Boys sleepover

A few days after Halloween, I hit Target and was able to find some fun costumes at 90% off!
The boys LOVE them

These were the first two awake, and they wanted to do peerler beads.

I had some little plaster ornaments that they painted, Parker was not interested in painting.

It was a nice enough day that when they asked to go to the park, we went.

We were so happy to see the zipline was fixed AGAIN, it is their favorite.

Little's sleepover

We had these three for a sleepover.  They helped us deliver some secret Santa gifts and then we went to Leatherbys for ice cream sundaes.

We took them to Funtopia for a final time, before the pass expired the next day

They had lots of fun climbing the walls and going down the HUGE slide.

They are such good little friends.

We made yummy reindeer pancakes for breakfast, we love having these girls over!

A trip to Sea Quest

The fun pass that we bought all our family last year was about to expire, so we did a final visit to a fun new Aquarium.  Katie has her feet in water full of fish!!!  We got to touch a huge snake.

These three got in a cage with hundreds of parakeets.  They were all over the girls!

Aunt Darlene turns 80

My sweet aunt Darlene, celebrated her 80th birthday on Dec. 13.  Her kids threw a huge party for her.  Here she is with her kids and hubby.

Jerry flew into town for it, and luckily, I'm right on the way home from the airport, so I invited her and Mike to have lunch with us on their way home.

Bonnie and Dennis came into town too, and we were lucky to get them to stay with us.

Jerry and Mike stopped by their way back to the airport for another visit.  It was so fun to see them.

We had all our kids for dinner on Sunday.  Jamie made this amazing cake for the occasion.  She and Jordan lived in Arizona right by Bonnie, they became great friends while they were there.

Fun girls weekend

I was able to get together with 3 of my very best friends from high school for a fun lunch.  We met at Cafe Rio at 12:30 and talked and laughed until 4:30.  How time flies when you are having fun!

That night, we had a sleepover at Lani's with my girls. We went out to dinner and watched a fun Christmas movie.

The next morning, we all had pedicures.

It was my first one, but won't be my last, it was so fun!
I'm so blessed to have such great friends and family.

Our Bedroom is done too!

Our bedroom furniture arrived December 10th

I LOVE it!  It's awesome to have drawers under the bed, besides the pretty dresser.

I also love the fun chairs we found to watch TV or read.

Our Closet

Nov. 30th, Matt came over to work on our closet.  We had told him what we wanted, and so he went to Home Depot to get the supplies.  He saw some kits that had everything in them, so he thought those might work and bought them.  He put mine in, but it just looked kinda flimsy, so he took it apart and we returned it and he made his own.  MUCH BETTER!

Mike really wanted some little cubbys to organize his clothes, so Matt built him some.
He also added a few to my side😊

While Matt and Krista worked, their girls crafted.  They LOVE to craft!

It is so big, that Hailey suggested we put a bench in there.

Mike's side

My side, we LOVE it!!!

Mike's shower arrived!

Nov. 24th, Mike's shower arrived.

It came in this huge crate

Matt and Paul got Mike's bathroom all framed, sheetrocked and ready to put the shower in.

Ta Da!  Now we just have to get it painted so they can tile the floor.

We got it all painted that week and they came on Saturday and did the floor.

They finished it up the next Wed.  Hooray, all done by Dec. 18th, only 2 months from start to finish!

Our floor is in

Nov. 21 our floor guys came and put in our floor.  We already had the hickory in our living room, kitchen and hall, and we have LOVED it.  We decided to finish off the rest of the main floor (except the bathrooms of course)  They were able to blend it in perfectly!

We had it put in the sewing room.
and our bedroom.

Mike started the taping and mudding the room.We mudded and sanded and mudded and sanded.
Then it was finally read to paint.

Nov. 17, Matt and Paul set the tile, I LOVE it!!!!
Tomorrow, we are going to grout it and then the guys will come back and put in the vanity and toilet.
