Christams Open House

We had a great time getting to visit with our family at mom and dad's house on Christmas. Instead of trying to have everyone come at the same time, they did an open house and invited family to stop by between 1:00-6:00. After spending a little time with Grandma Cline, we went to mom and dad's and stayed for a while, so we could visit with everyone. It made it nice for those who had several places to be, to come when it was convenient for them. Thanks mom and dad for being so flexible!

Christmas Eve's Eve

This year we did Christmas a little different, and we really liked it! Josh was supposed to work on Christmas, and Jamie and Jordan were supposed to be on their way home to Georgia, so we decided to celebrate Christmas with our little family on Christmas Eve's Eve (Dec. 23rd) We invited Mom, Dad, Lani, since Lani would be in California with the Thiots, and Grandpa Cline to join us. It was so much fun!!!! We had a yummy dinner and then exchanged our presents. After dinner we did a Nativity Puppet show. The big girls helped and it was a little wild, but very fun.

Lani gave the girls the cute red jogging suits that they immediately stripped down and put on. They are so cute.

We got 2 seater Princess cruisers for each little family, the big sisters get to be the drivers until the little sisters feet reach the pedals. Jamie built Molly and Abbie's at our house so the girls could try them out.

Hailey and Aida are enjoying theirs!

I think the girls are going to have a lot of fun in these cute little cars!

Another trip to the Children's Museum

I took a day off, the week before Christmas to take the girls to the Children's Museum. Jamie and Jordan had never been and since they were in town, we invited the girls to come with us. Krista, Josh and Merijane joined the group. Abbie stayed home to take a nap, but all the other girls were able to come. They always have a fun projet for them to do. Here's Libbie, Hailey and Molly making a snowman with LOTS of cotton balls.

Katie had fun making a snowman as well!

Aida is great at gluing!

With the help of Josh, Jamie, and Jordan, the girls built AMAZINGLY tall towers!

Here are the 5 girls getting ready for a ride, what a cute group!

Our 2010 Christmas Card

This year, since our whole family wasn't going to be together for a picture until too late to send cards, I decided to put our adorable granddaughters on it. I wanted a picture of all 6 together, but thankfully, Krista talked me into doing just the sisters. Out of 63 pictures, we got 1 of each set that was pretty cute. I can't imagine how many hundred it would have taken to get all 6 looking cute!!!!!

Game night

A few weeks ago I had this great idea to do a game night with my siblings. They were all up for it, so we met at our house, everyone brought something yummy to eat and we had a fun time playing games. I can't wait to do it again!!!

Jen, Jeff, Carissa (not one of my siblings, but a fun addition) and Kathy

Jen and Jeff, they are so cute!!!!

Chillin in my Grammy rocker after the party. I do love my rocker!

Hailey's primary program

Today was Hailey's Primary Program in Sacrament meeting. She did such a good job on her speaking part and singing, she sings so pretty and loud! She was right by the microphone, so we could hear her sweet voice very well.

Libbie and Hailey's preschool Christmas Programs

We got to go to Libbie's preschool program on Dec. 18th. The teacher had decorated the church with projects that the kids had worked on for the last month. They had some darling art work that we got to see and then they took home. We love being grandparents and getting invited to all the fun programs.

They had actions and props for all the songs, and did such a cute job.

Singing in Santa's hat

After her program, she and Katie got to sit on Santa's lap.

Last Wednesday night, Hailey invited us to her Preschool Christmas Program. They sang so many cute songs, it was really fun to be there! She did a great job and looked so cute in her Christmas dress, she is getting so big.

Aida enjoyed the program too, it won't be long and she'll be a preschooler!

One of the songs they sang was the Peppermint Twist, and boy could those kids dance!

As the kids were singing jingle bells, Santa made his entrance. Here's Hailey waiting in line to see him

Hailey was very excited to get to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what she wants for Christmas

Aida got to sit on Santa's lap too, but was a little nervous about him!

Cline family Christmas Party

Last week Jenny called Grandma Cline to see about organizing a Cline Christmas party. They decided on doing a brunch on Saturday, and miracle of miracles, everyone was able to come!!!! Each family brought something to add to our meal, we had pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, hash browns, eggs, OJ Apple juice and milk. There was so much good food, and with everyone helping it was easy and delicious!!! Thanks Jenny for the great idea.

New coloring books

The girls enjoyed coloring with Opi

After dinner the adults enjoyed sitting around and visiting

More visiting!

Happy Birthday Jamie!

November 30th 1982 was a great day in our family. It was the worst snow storm of the winter, and we were out in Dugway. I had been so worried that I wouldn't know exactly when I needed to go to the hospital, so I was really glad that my water broke. Jamie was the only baby that my water broke before I got to the hospital. We got out to get into our car, and had a flat tire. While Mike changed the tire, he sent me over to his school to leave lesson plans for a sub. (only in Dugway, did the teachers have keys to the outside door of the school) By the time I got home, he had the tire changed on the car and we were on our way. Mom and dad met us at the hospital, and took Krista and Josh. 2 hours later, Jamie was born, he was the easiest delivery of all my babies. It has been fun to watch him grow up, and turn into such a darling husband and dad. Here are a few pictures of that cute boy!!!! He is 6 months old in this one

Here he is 3 years old (about Molly's age) There is a little resemblance don't you think?
