Valentine date night

Mike had a great idea to invite all our granddaughters over for a Valentine party on Valentines night so their parents could have a date night. (We celebrated on Saturday with a fun movie and delicious dinner.) We had lots of fun with them. He found a Valentine movie that they watched on the computer. When I came downstairs, the 3 big girls were all in a pile in the chair watching it. They are so cute!!!!

Here's our 3 little girls finishing up their dinner.

We made giant valentine cards for their parents and our elders.

It was a little wild with all 6 frosting, decorating and eating cupcakes!

Hailey did a very nice job on hers!

They frosted some amazing cupcakes for themselves, their parents and our missionaries

All 6 girls in their jammies ready for mom and dad to pick them up.

Our Elders are here!

On Thursday, Elder Perez from Guatemala, and Elder Tyndall from North Carolina moved into our home. As you can see, they are just darling, and we love having them here with us. They bring a great spirit and we are happy to be able to share our home with them.

Happy Birthday Mom and Jeff

Yesterday, Feb. 12, was Mom's 76th birthday! Robynn was in town, and kinda thought we should have a big celebration, complete with a 76 trombone marching band, but my basement just wasn't big enough. We did have a yummy breakfast and then a presentation of the Grammy awards. There were so many fun awards given.

We had a bunch of people at the ping pong table and then a bunch at the 2 long tables.

We put the big girls in the play room to eat, and play and eat and play.

Since Robynn and Dick had to leave in the afternoon, we decided to do a breakfast, we had the breakfast casseroles, doughnuts, muffins, cinnamon rolls, fruit, milk and juice. Boy was it tasty!!!!

Everyone enjoyed the yummy food! Thanks everyone for bringing such good stuff!!!

It's Birthday week!

Katie and Aida both just turned 2 years old and had such fun birthday parties. Here are a few pictures from each. Katie's party was tonight and Aida's was last weekend.

Since Josh's family had just barely returned from Disneyland, they did a Minnie Mouse birthday party for Katie, complete with a Minnie Mouse cake.

They made the cutest Minnie Mouse cupcakes that were very yummy!

Katie blowing out the candles on her birthday cake.

Here's our two cute 2 year olds. They are so much fun!

Katie got lots of fun presents, we found her this doll that makes all kinds of noises and when it drinks a bottle it's cheeks move in and out, very cool!!!

Katie moved in with Libbie and they redid Libbie's room, it turned out darling!!!! Katie is in a little toddler bed right next to Libbie's bed so she won't fall out.

Krista had such a fun party for Aida. She had about 30 people there, with just grandparents, great grandparents, and Aida's aunts, uncles and cousins. She is an adorable little 2 year old birthday girl.

Krista made all sorts of yummy treats.

She got a cute new baby doll, all our girls love dolls!

Aida had a heart shaped cake that was delicious!

Aida was such a fun birthday girl, she loved all her presents.

Part of Aida's birthday from Krista was redoing she and Hailey's room. Lani and Krista made the adorable quilts and she did lots of other darling things to match it. Check out Krista's blog for all the cute pictures!

It's circus time!

Ever since we took the girls to the circus a year and a half ago, Hailey has wanted to go again. I have been watching for it to come to town again, and a few weeks ago, I noticed a smaller circus would be in town, so we got tickets and took the big 3 girls. They were so good, and we had lots of fun!

Here we are waiting for the circus to start.

There were tigers that did tricks.

They had all kinds of bounce houses.

They had an elephant that gave rides.

Here they are trying out their own tricks!
