Dad turns 87

Once again, we celebrated dad's birthday at Burger King.

We had lots of people come to help with him a happy birthday.  Ila Fae and Lance (also Chris )

Me and Mike (and Josh photo bombing us)

Uncle Mike

and the Birks family, Jeff and Jen, all our kids but Jordan's family (Logan was sick) Marie and Michelle.  They had a crazy mix up on the orders and it took FOREVER to get our food.  Luckily, we had fun people to visit with so it wasn't as bad as it could have been!

Oliver James Cline's blessing day

Today was Oliver's blessing day, what a sweet blessing Jamie gave him and what a sweet boy he was!  He was perfect in church and during the whole party afterwards.

Great Grandpa Birks

He even smiled for Great Grandma Cline

Emily had the cutest display set up in her living room for Molly and Oliver.

He had the sweetest blessing outfit.

He is a very smiley baby!  We loved getting to see him smile for us.  Notice the CTR ring on his finger that their neighbor Tammy gave him, so cute!

There was a delicious lunch afterwards with chicken salad sandwiches, chips, every kind of salad you could think of and cake and brownies.  So yummy!!!!

Logan and Gabbie sleep over

Jordan and Jamie asked us to watch Logan for them after Molly's baptism, so they could go to the sheep herding contest at Swiss Days.  We were MORE THAN HAPPY to do it!  We invited Gabby to come and sleep over too.

Our first stop on our way home was Cabellas to check out the big fish

and all the cool animals, (so nice they don't hide like the ones at the zoo!)

They had these cool bunk bed cots that they enjoyed checking out

and a guy talking about camping

They sure can run fast!

There were 3 dogs that they had to give hugs to.

Practicing their shooting skills.

After we got home they had a quick lunch

then out to the back yard for some fun, I can't believe they still LOVE the baby swings.

Logan loves to chase Gabbie on the trampoline!

Run Gabbie, Run!

Next out for a walk around the neighborhood.  It doesn't seem that long ago that I was taking Libbie and Hailey for a walk in this same old stroller.

Logan LOVED pulling the shade canapy over his head and disappearing.

Logan is a dipping guy, he dips his graham crackers in milk

and had his first fun dip

oh yeah!

After naps, we went and got pizza and took it to a park

There were lots of kids there, and it was right on Redwood Road, and these two love to run, after just a few minutes,

we went to Arctic Circle for ice cream and to keep them a little more confined.
Cheers!

They were the only kids in the play area, so they had fun and we could relax.

This was the worlds SLOWEST slide and Logan loved it!

Gabby could get going a bit faster so she enjoyed it too!

Gabbie brought her tiny little fire truck that Logan had loved at her house when he's been over there.  He chased her around the house saying "Whee oooo, whee ooo"

Before bed, they made a few repairs on the playhouse roof

and made a little bedtime snack.  When we put them to bed, neither of them made a peep, and went right to sleep!

They were up bright and early in the morning playing playdough.

Logan was quite thrilled to be able to play with scissors, (I don't think his parents have turned him loose with those yet)

What a fun sleepover with these cute little cousins!  We can't wait to do it again!

Molly's Baptism

Today, Saturday, September 5, 2015 is a very great day for our family.  This beautiful little girl got baptized.  Molly is such a special little girl, she has a very tender heart and tries so hard to do what's right.

She was baptized by her dad in a special dress that Robynn made from one of mom's beautiful nighties.  She had the idea when her granddaughter Brooklyn was getting baptized and offers it to any of the great granddaughters who would like to wear it.  Molly was thrilled to wear it and it felt like a little part of Gigi was there with her on this important day.

Here's a picture of her family before the baptism.

There was a room full of people there to celebrate with her, including her school teacher!
