Molly's Preschool Program

Molly had a preschool program last Wednesday. Unfortunately for me, it was right during the middle of the day, and on a CRAZY day so I couldn't miss school. Mike was able to go, and said she was a GREAT singer.

Congratulations Molly for finishing your first year of Preschool! Just one more year and you are off to Kindergarten.

Preschool Programs

We have had a fun week attending Preschool Programs. Libbie's was last night and Hailey's on Wed, and Molly's is next week.

They sang such cute songs, they all know all the words and performed just darling!

It was so cute, after the program, Libbie had to hug all of her friends, she is one friendly little girl!

Look out Kindergarten, Here Comes Libbie Jane!!!!

It's hard to believe that this little girl is graduating from preschool too, and ready to move on to Kindergarten!

She had a darling program and invited all her grandparents to come.

They had cute props for the songs that they sang.

They learned some little dances and some pretty fancy moves too!! You are going to be a great kindergarten girl Hailey!

Mother's Day 2011

Since Josh had to work on Mothers day, they invited all of us to come to a really fun park in West Jordan to celebrate early on Saturday. The kids took care of the meal and all the details, and all Mike and I had to do was show up! It was such a beautiful day, the only one without rain, and lots of sunshine!!!

Me and Abbie

The big kids had a game of soccer while the little kids played on the playground

The big girls just LOVE little Abbie!

Krista and Hailey with some beautiful flowers they picked from their garden for the centerpiece on the table

Opi and the 3 little girls on the swings

Libbie and Molly on the monkey bars

Abbie loved playing on the playground

Jordan and Jamie gave Mike and I an early Fathers Day/Mothers Day gift by treating us to a night at the Holiday Inn up in Park City. We had a great time and it was a beautiful hotel.

It has been the rainiest spring ever this year, so Krista and her family gave me these darling rainboots to keep my feet dry.

Jamie and Emily gave me this darling rod iron hanger and the cute butterfly and flower on it to go in my side yard.

Josh and Merijane came with flowers and planted my planters for me. A few years ago, they gave me a couple of big pots, full of flowers, and every year since, they have replanted them for me. They look great again this year!!!

Ric and Kathy are Grandparents too!!!! Taylor Jay Birks was born at 3:04 on May 12th weighing in at a whopping 9 lbs 14 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. He is one adorable baby. Congratulations to the newest parents and grandparents in our family!!!!

Kids say the darndest things!!!

Last night the girls were down playing in the play room. Libbie had on a pair of princess shoes that went with her princess dress. She took them off while she was playing and Hailey slipped them on her own feet. When Libbie noticed this she said "Hailey, those are my shoes, you have 2 choices, you can either give them to me, or I will take them from you......1, 2, 3 it was your choice, now I have to take them from you, and she did, and Hailey just let her do it. I guess even 4 year olds can use love and logic! (Merijane has been using it on Libbie and it sounds like she is learning how to use it too!!!)

Tonight on my way home from school I was visiting with Hailey. I got home and went in the house and she wanted to talk to Opi. I couldn't find him and she said, he is probably playing hide and seek, just say ready or not here I come. I still couldn't find him and she told me to go check under or behind the couch.

Fancy Nancy and her Family History

I found a fun new Fancy Nancy book about Family History. Tonight we had all our kids and grandkids over, and invited Grandpa Cline to join us for dinner. After dinner, we read the new book about Fancy Nancy's ancestors, and asked Grandpa Cline some questions about his ancestors. It was fun to hear about his parents and grandparents! We want to go visit the other great grandparents and have them tell some stories about their ancestors soon.

Dressing up for the Royal Wedding!

This has been an exciting week getting to watch all the hype about the Royal Wedding. The teachers at our school dressed up on Friday, and had a Royal Tea after school, it was so much fun! Saturday night we tended Jamie and Krista's girls and they always love dressing up when they come to our house. It is so funny, now even the tiny girls want to get in on the action. Aida came in carrying this dress and wanted to get all dressed up.

Abbie picked out a size 6 that was way too big. Luckily she was happy with a dress I found in the closet I had bought years ago. I can see I need to start watching for some smaller dress ups for these little gals!

Hailey is modeling a new favorite that I found last weekend.

And last, but certainly not least is Molly in the new spring line of dresses. They are so much fun!!!
