My trip to Arizona

It has been way too long since I have been to Arizona to visit Bonnie. I have been wanting to go for the last couple of years, and something has always come up, so this summer I finally made it. We had such a fun time, it was very warm, but we managed to stay cool swimming in her beautiful pool, shopping, visiting her kids in their beautiful homes, eating, attending a 24th of July celebration, reading and I'm sure a few things I forgot.

Bonnie and Bekka both made darling shower curtains for their bathrooms. So cute!

Here's Bonnie in her Beautiful bedroom, her shirt matched her bedroom so cute, I had to take a picture. I loved being at her house and getting to visit with her and her sweet family.

Lunch with Gigi at McDonalds

We had a really fun day today. Libbie and Katie slept over, Josh and Merijane are at Youth Conference with their ward. We called mom up to see if she wanted to go to McDonalds with us for lunch. Jamie dropped Molly off on his way to work so she could play with the girls. We spent about 2 hours at McDonalds, the girls had such a great time on the play ground, and we enjoyed watching them have so much fun! Mom bought the girls happy meals and the loved the Strawberry Shortcake dolls in them.

Don't you love spray paint????

Summer is flying by, and I haven't done much cleaning of closets yet, so this week I got busy and have made a dent in it. Yesterday, I cleaned out my closet and had a couple of pair of shoes that were cute, but weird colors, so I never wore them. I was going to get rid of them, but came up with this brilliant idea to spray paint them the color I wanted. I needed new red and pink shoes, so bought some spray paint and wah lah!!!! Here are the shoes I painted red, they were just too cute to throw away, even though the color was strange.

I don't know how long it will last, but instead of polishing, I can always respray!!! If anyone wants hot pink shoes, I have a lot of spray paint and would be happy to share.

Millcreek Canyon

My nephew Charlie and his family are in town for Cierra's wedding and one of the things he wanted to do while he was here, was go to the mountains and roast hotdogs. Josh knew of a beautiful place up Millcreek canyon, so as many of us as were available, headed up there.

We were able to find a great spot with a table and fire pit for roasting the hot dogs and marshmallows. We ended up with quite a group of people!

We had a delicious picnic, and fun visit

Robynn brought the biggest marshmallows I have ever seen and Keelie roasted them perfectly!

The girls LOVED Skyler and Kara. They blew bubbles with them and hiked all around the area. Before we left, I asked Libbie if she would like to come again, she said, YES, and let's invite Skyler and Kara too!!!

Before we left, we went to see a beautiful waterfall, what a great evening, we can't wait to go back!!!

Fun in the Fountains at Gateway

Since Charlie and Tatia were in town, we decided to all meet up at Gateway to play in the fountains. It was so fun to see Keelie fit right in with all our little girls. They just adore her!!!

Waiting for the water by them to shoot up

They start out kind of small, just shooting up here and there........
