Utah Arts Festival

This year for Father's Day, Josh and Merijane gave Mike tickets to the Utah Art Festival. They came with us and we had lots of fun looking at all the cool things people made. They had a section just for kids, and Libbie had a great time. Katie fell asleep and slept through most of it.

There was a huge dragon that the kids got to paint scales to go on.

Libbie loved playing in the water and climbing on the brick wall

They had some people there from Sommerhays music, that let the kids try out all the instruments.

She did very well on the flute, made some great music!

She also tried out the violin

There were things for the kids to paint

There were lots of crazy things made out of yarn, this car was totally covered with things that were knit or crocheted.

Both girls had fun getting wet

Katie fell asleep, and took a good nap while Libbie had fun

It was a really hot day, and we enjoyed cooling off in the fountain
