The last few years, our church leaders have been asking us to focus more on Easter than just one day. They have given us sooooo many resources to make this happen. We have loved spending holy week, reading about what went on each day.
Our ward did a passover dinner that was very cool. When we arrived, the tables were all set and the passover food already on them. The bishop gave a beautiful presentation about ech part of the dinner before we ate that part.
We did the story of the resurection with scriptures and symbols in each egg with our activity boys for them to take home and do with their families. We have one little boy who is catholic, and goes to a catholic school. He knew the story perfectly and shared the whole stroy, very impressive!
Then we made emptly tomb rolls. They were so fun that I did them with some of my grandkids.
Saturday morning, I venmoed Tatia and Skyler money to buy the ingredients and sent them the recipe. Tatia's kids made them Easter morning.
We did our Easter celebration with our family on Palm Sunday. I did a scavenger hunt with scriptures again and this year gave them a beautiful Jesus puzzle and some treats to eat while they work on the puzzle.
I've loved my Easter decorations that focus on our Savior. I am so grateful for His sacrifice for me!
