Kathy Plaster's birthday

A few weeks ago, my cousin Gayle, who lives in Washington,  called and said she wanted to come and celebrate Kathy's birthday with her.  Lani lives right by Kathy's care center, and offered to let her stay with her.  Gayle was here for 2 days, and took Kathy shopping and got her a haircut.

  Kathy's sister Wanda called and asked me to get her a birthday cake to share with the workers and people at the care center.    We all sang happy birthday and told a little bit about Kathy.

That night, we went out to dinner with her, Alex, Gabi,and their kids, Gayle, and Lani. 

Baby Zac turns one!

This adorable little guy had a birthday on Sept 19 and turned 1.

Jamie did his birthday party with a camping theme.  Everything was so cute.  

This was Zac's smash cake, 

The banner said One happy camper and he sure was!  She had a platter with raspberries, strawberries, blackberries and blueberries,  vegetable tray, hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, chili, 

and of course birthday cake!

Everything was delicious. Jamie's mom Marci was in town helpling her dad who is very ill,  so she was able to come to the celebration.  

We roasted marshmallows for s'mores,  It was so fun to celebrate with this sweet little guy. 

 We love you Zac!

Fall Spots

Fall Sports are already in full swing.  I sent a note to all my kids and had them send me the schedules of their kids activities.   With practices and games, they are running kids everywhere everyday!  I try to hit at least one of their games or meets, and that keeps me plenty busy.  They are amazing!

I got to go watch Parker play basketball, and Logan volleyball

I watched Gabbie, Abi, Oliver and Jack play soccer

I got to watch Hailey, Molly and Libbie run

and Katie play volley ball and Kelsi play soccer.

It's Fall Ya'll

The other day I went to Lani's house and saw her cute Fall decorations. 

 It got me ready to put up mine.  

I was so excited when I opened my box and found the fun Fall pillows and throw I bought last year.

I had forgoten how cute they were.

Also my Fall sign.  I do LOVE this time of year!

 

 

Baby shower

Last summer Kisandra and her husband bought my friend Carolyn Williams house.  

She is such a sweet gal and immediately became a great part of our ward.  She has a little 3 1/2 year old daughter named Savannah, just the age of our Savannah.  She is having a baby boy.

My fried Carolyn Bradly made sugar cookies and a fruit platter, I did Blossom Swifts peanut blossum cookies, carmel apple cupcakes, and a vegetable platter, and my friend Gaylene brought chips and salsa.

Everything was very yummy!

Kissandra brought these adorable thank yous for everyone that said, 

Thank you for showering our baby with love.

My house is perfect for gatherings, we had about 20 people.

I'm so grateful we took the wall down to make it easy to have lots of people.
