Little's sleepover

When we had our sleepover with the boys and Little girls, a few weeks ago, Savannah had dance classes and couldn't come.  She felt a little sad, so we did another sleepover with the Littles this week.

We walked over to Arby's for lunch.  Right as we were getting ready to head to Arby's, Ric stopped by so he joined us.  So fun! ( I should have had him in the picture, but he took it cuz I forgot my phone)

My friend Kelli let us swim in her pool again. The perfect place to be on a hot day.

Mike's birthday

I was trying to decided what we could do fun for Mike's birthday.  On of my friends told me that the Church Hisory Museum had an exhibit of  Minerva Teichert's paintings.  She is one of Mike's favorite LDS painters, so we  went to see it on his birthday.  There were tons of paintings we had never seen before, so it was really fun to get to see them.

We went to Seigfrieds for lunch before the museum  He LOVES German food.

It's tricky parking and getting to there, but always fun.

July Birthdays

It's hard to believe that 9/25 of our family were born in July.  We got together for dinner and cake and ice cream to celebrate.   We have Logan on the 2nd, Josh and Hailey on the 6th, Oliver and Parker on the 7th, Kelsi on the 9th, Mike the 18th, Jamie the 20th and Jordan on the 28th

Afterwards, we took a picture with all our grandkids on our jungle gym,
for the screen saver on my phone.  I love seeing them when I look at it.

Piling them up on the jungle gym is the only way to get all  15 kids in a verticle picture.  Our last one was 2018 and we were missing Savvy and Zac.  The other kids have grown so much!

Timpanogus Temple

These are 6 of the very nicest, sweetest, and most adorable girls I know.  I was lucky enough to get to go to the Timpanogus Temple with them last night.  With FSY, Youth Conference, Trek, Brighton Camp, Oakcrest Camp, Girls Camp, Track, Soccer, and family vacations, it's been tricky finding a time to get together.  I was so happy when we found out Emily had made an appointment back in May, for baptisms for the dead for her girls and was nice enough to let us use it.  (It is crazy tying to schedule appointments)  We had such a great time and the girls were able to do 50 baptisms.

Afterwards, we went to dinner and had such a great visit.  I sure LOVE these girls!

I can't wait to do it again in January, and have 9 granddaughters with us.
Gabbie, Kelsi, and Sophie all turn 11 this year.

Opi and Grammy Camp

A couple of months ago, Emily called to see if we could watch Kelsi and Oliver while she went with the big girls to Girls Camp.  A few weeks later Merijane called and needed the same thing the same days.  Then, Matt had an out of town conference he had to present at, that Krista was invited to go to, so they asked if Sophie could sleep over, and it was also the same days.  We didn't want to leave Logan and Parker out, so they joined in the fun.  (Savannah already had a dance class those days, so she wasn't available)

We got out our old tent and it was perfect for the girls.

Jordan let us borrow his awesome tent for the boys.

These three were the first to arrive.  Sophie loves doing Diamond Art and I thought the others might enjoy it, so we ordered some stickers that she taught the kids how to do.

They all loved doing them and they turned out so cute.

My sweet friend Kelli Handy let us come and swim in her pool the first afternoon. So fun!

Jack grilled hot dogs for us for lunch.  Yummm

The girls made all kinds of goofy signs and pranked the boys by putting them all over their tent in the middle of the night. I was amazed that they were quiet enough not to wake the boys.

Kelsi and Gabbie both try to go running every day, so early in the morning, all us girls went for a run.
After our run we had breakfast, then walked to Harmons for doughnuts.

When our kids were little, mom did shrink art with them.   I had just done it with my activity boys and they really enjoyed it, so we did it with these kids too.  They came up with some great designs.

They LOVED watching it shrink

These are just a couple that were made. Each of them made 3 of 4.   We put them on their backpacks.

The girls were in charge of making sno cones with my new machine.

Mike had been saving old power tools, speakers, phones etc that didn't work anymore.  He envisioned the boys having fun taking them apart and he was right, they LOVED it!

The girls cooled off in the pool while the boys disected power tools.

Hot lava on the trampoline

and mini golf.  The kids were so great and it was such a fun time.  They all left by 6:00, I heated up leftover pizza for dinner and was fast asleep by 7:00.  They wore me out!!!!
