A broken collar bone and two bike races

On Aug.22, Jordan was at Logan's Mountain biking practice, where he helps coach the kids.  He got into an accident and fractured his elbow and broke his collar bone in 4 places.  Two surgeries later, he has a large metal plate and 13 screws to hold his collar bone in place.  This has been SO MISERABLE for him.  We are hoping he is finally on the mend!

He had planned to take Logan to his Mt. biking race in Vernal last weekend, but because he couldn't drive, he invited me to go with them and be their chauffer.  (Jamie was taking Zac to a bike race, so she couldn't drive them.)

Our niece Stephanie and her son Walter were also there.  It was fun catching up with her.  Logan and Walter are good friends so they had fun hanging out together.  We went out to eat with them.

Logan had a great time!

Zac loved getting to compete with lots of tiny kids in a Strider Bike competition.

Summer Birthdays

Summer is birthday time in our family.  

We took Logan to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate his birthday.

We forgot to take a picture with Hailey, but we went to Firehouse Subs with her.

We took Molly to Cubby's.  It's so fun to celebrate with our sweet family.

Mike takes the boys out to celebrate their birthdays, but it's been a crazy summer and they haven't gotten together yet to celebrate Jordan's and Josh's.  Hopefully soon!
