Robynn, Dick, and Tatia's family come to town

Tatia and her cute family came to SLC last Sunday, and are here for a week.  We got to have them over for dinner on Father's Day.  I don't know if these girls ate any food, it seemed like all they did was GIGGLE!!!!

I LOVE these 3 baby boys that are just the same size!

They loved throwing and eating the sand in our sand table.

They had a great time playing in the back yard.

How many monkeys swinging from our tree???

Tatia had a great idea to do Pizza and Popsicles at Bear Park on Monday night.  We used to come here when we were young.

Then we brought our kids here when they were young.

Now the little cousins get to come and play.

Dad borrowed the rocket launcher from his friend and the kids loved making and launching rockets

Lani got a pizza pinata and that was a hit!

So fun!

On Tues, we went to the Church History museum.  They have some new displays and Sophie LOVED painting.

Hailey folding an oragami bird.

Tues night, we had a girls night out and Robynn, Tatia, Krista, Lani and I went to Costa Vida for dinner and visiting.  Good food and GREAT company.  (No pictures)
Wednesday morning, I went over to dad's house and Robynn and I made 25 freezer meals for him.  We made, chicken enchiladas, chicken Parmesan, Shepherds pie, country fried chicken, Rigatoni, Malibu Chicken, Lasagna, Pulled pork sandwiches and lemon chicken.  I got there at 8:00 and we were done shortly after 10 just before Darlene, Lisa and Richard arrived for a visit.

Pretty tasty!

We took most of it to dad's freezer downstairs, but left a few upstairs..

Since mom died, we have done service on her birthday and the anniversary of the day she died.  Her birthday is on a Sunday this year, so we did our service a little early, while Robynn was still in town.

U of U Arts and Craft Day

Every Third Saturday of the month, the U of U has a fun art activity for Families.

This week, it was painting Russian Nesting Dolls
.

They gave each of the kids a set of 4 and let them do whatever they wanted.

They had a lot of fun and did a great job.

Unfortunately, my phone died before they finished, so I didn't get pictures of all of their finished dolls

Lani's Birthday

June 13th was a very special day in our family, everyone's FAVORITE AUNT was born!
We celebrated Lani's birthday at Krista's house, since it was too cold to go to the park like we originally planned.

Paige and Devin were there

So were lots of other people we love!

We had cake and ice cream.

Tiny baby Jack came to wish Lani a happy birthday too!

Lani got a birthday cake pinata for the kids to do.

They had such a great time.  Happy birthday Lani pie, we sure love you!

A trip to Arizona

We had been trying to decide when to head to Arizona to visit Jordan's family and since Parker will be born in July, we decided that we would go visit them shortly after he was born.  I was talking to Logan on the phone a few weeks ago, and he said "Grammy, where are you,  I told him I was at home, he said, Arizona is too far huh?"  I felt so bad I wanted to hop in the car right then and go visit him, so as soon as school was out, that's just what we did.

Mike and I slept in the living room, which is right outside of Logan's door.  Every night when we put him to bed, I told him "as soon as you wake up, just say Grammy, and I will come and get you"  I LOVED every morning hearing him call for me!!!!

We had so much fun with this cute little guy.  Since he and I are early birds, we made some yummy vanishing biscuits for his family before they even woke up.

We went to a fun place that had lots of trampolines for little kids to jump on,

Also, some fun slides.

He and Opi had fun driving race cars.

It was a bit hot, it got up to 115 one of the days, so we went to the pool every day.

Logan LOVES to swim, so we played in the pool a lot.  Luckily, they have one right outside their apartment door!

Our favorite missionary that lived with us was Elder Banks, we got him as a greenie, and were able to keep him for 9 months.  He lives in Mesa, and has a Hot Cookie food truck that was at a place not far from Jamie and Jordan, so we went and visited him.  He treated us to yummy cookies and ice cream

It's a pretty sweet truck!

We were able to go to the BEAUTIFUL new Gilbert temple one morning, that is only a few minutes from their new home.

Bonnie and Dennis went with us.  Jamie and Jordan went in the evening and we got to play with Logan.

Logan LOVES to play cars, so we spent a lot of time on the floor playing cars.

He is also getting pretty good at playing Candy Land.  We got to play that with him too.

On Sunday, we went to see their new house,  It is coming along nicely!!!

Bonnie and Dennis invited us to dinner after church.  We had a fun visit at their beautiful new home.  I can't believe the only picture I got was of Logan playing with their marble game.
FAIL!

Before we knew it, we were on our way home.  Luckily, we will be making a few more trips out there this summer, so we will see them very soon!

Memorial Day 2016

I sent out a text that we were going to go to the cemetery at 4:00 on Memorial Day.  If anyone else was available at that time, we would love to get to see them.

Most of our family was able to come!  Krista, Josh, Jamie and their families were there, Kathy and Ric, Chip and his family, and  Dad and Lani.

It was so nice to have so many people there.

I'm not sure what the kids are doing, hopefully not carving their names in the tree.

Afterwards, Dad took us all to dinner at Chick Fil A
Our Chick Fil A was doing free 8 piece chicken nuggets with any purchase, so we purchased 28 fries and got 28 boxes of chicken nuggets free!  What a deal!!!!

Hailey and Libbier were the photographers, and did a great job of catching most of the people who were there. (I'm not sure why they missed Josh's family, they were there too)
