To celebrate Mom's birthday each year, we think of some kind of service we can give to someone. Mike and I started the day off at the Jordan River temple. Mom and Dad spent several years serving there and LOVED it.
After that, I picked up a dozen balloons, and we met Lani, Dad and Krista and her girls at the cemetery. Most of the cemetery was covered with snow, but not Mom's grave.
We each wrote mom a message and sent it up to her.
Lani and Hailey found this cute flower to put on her grave with some of the balloons.
Krista made this cute doll for a little girl she heard about who is in the hospital with cancer.
I made a soft minkie blanket for that little girl.
It's so nice to think about others and do something for someone else while remembering Mom. So many of our family did great acts of service on her birthday.
We love and miss you Mom!!!
