Jack and Gabbie's Birthdays

On March 23, this cute boy turned 11.  He loves Indian food like his mom and dad, and wanted to go to an Indian resturant not far from his home.  They had the YUMMIEST naan bread!

Gabbie's birthday is just 2 weeks later on April 6th.  Mike wasn't feeling great, so I took her to Texas Roadhouse.  That place never disappoints.

 

So grateful for all our sweet grandkids!

Easter and Conference

I LOVE that we have been encouraged to make Easter a season instead of just one day.  We had such a nice week studying about Holy Week.  Our ward sent out messages each day about what went on that day.  We were able to listen to lots of podcasts explaining about it and it was so nice to really focus on Christ.  My decorations were centered on Christ so I have really enjoyed this Easter Season.

Nothing could have been better than to have Conference on Easter weekend.  All of the talks focused on Jesus and it was so nice to listen to our leaders teach us about Him.

This year, we actually had our Easter Dinner on Easter!  Jamie and her kids were in California for Spring break, visiting her mom, but everyone else was able to come.  We even had Tatia's family join us, so fun!  The Boys

We had a delicious meal which eveyone brought something yummy.  I'm so grateful for our Savior and all that he has done and continues to do for us.
