On our way to Georgia

My cousin Bonnie McDonald lives in Pensacola Florida, which is right on the way to Jordan and Jamie's house.  We stopped by and said hi to her and had a fun visit.

We loved all the houses up on stilts to avoid the flooding.

Jordan and Jamie's house was only about 4 hours from Bonnie's house.  It was so good to see them.

For Family Night, the night before we arrived, they painted their door, it looked great!  Jamie and her friends made the adorable wreaths for their craft day a few weeks ago.

They pulled out a bunch of shrubs, and planted lots of beautiful flowers.

Lexi was more than happy to show us some of her tricks!

She can jump through a hoop Jamie makes with her  leg, very tricky!

She is great at weaving in and out of the weaving poles

Our trip to New Orleans

On our way to New Orleans, we stopped at a plantation and took a tour

On Monday, we went to breakfast at the City Cafe.   One of their pancakes fed both of us, it was huge!!!!

Paula and Bob came to New Orleans too, and we went on a really awesome Swamp tour with them.

We rode on a boat like this one

We saw all kinds of awesome birds

and lots of alligators!!!!

Our guide would put a hot dog on a stick and he would come closer and closer

He would open that big old mouth and grab the hot dog.

Thanks for the hot dog!!!

In the afternoon, we went on a tour of the Garden district where we saw lots of mansions.

mansions everywhere!

There were also lots

and lots

of BEAUTIFUL flowers.

Mike and Hannah's wedding

The happy couple!

Henry, the most adorable ring bearer you have ever seen

Corin, the best man and President Kimball, their Stake President who performed the ceremony.

Hannah, the beautiful bride and her dad

 Saying their I Do's

We had quite the crowd!  Both of Mike's parents, his sister and all of his brothers were there.  It was nice to have so much family to celebrate with Mikey and Hannah.

What a good looking group!

They had an amazing dinner for all the guests!

It all looked so beautiful!

These were just the appetizers!

Good food, good fun

The night we arrived in Houston, Paula and Bob took us out to eat at this amazing seafood restaurant.

The food was just as beautiful as it was tasty!

Mark and Jayna took us to a really fun place for a wedding brunch.  They had a guy that brought around hot rolls and muffins, every few minutes.  He didn't just hand them to you, he tossed them to you.  It was pretty funny.

They had all kinds of yummy food

Most of our pictures so far have been about food, and that's because we ate a lot of good food on our trip!

It was so fun to have Sterling and his girls there for the wedding.

A trip to the temple and Chandler's mission office

Before we left Dallas for Houston, Mike and I were able to go to the Dallas Temple.  It was so nice, Robynn was working there that morning, so we got to be there with her.

On our way to Houston, we stopped at Chandler's mission office, the Houston South mission, and dropped off a few packages for him.  It was in the back of a chapel there.

They had a bulletin board with a picture of the missionaries that were coming and going.

Chandler's picture is the one on the top left corner!

These are the AP's that will pick him up at the airport.

This sister is the mission secretary, and she is holding a picture of his mission president who will be there for a couple more weeks, before the new one arrives.

Spray paint is the best!!!

We have had lots of fun doing a few projects with Tatia and Robynn, while Mike and I have been here.  We painted this darling little kitchen for Penny, Tatia just needs to put the knobs back on and it will be good to go!   It is going to go in Tatia's kitchen, and will match it so cute!!!!

Robynn has redecorated her bedroom in the last month, she painted, got new carpet, bedspreads, a darling red armoire, picture and some fun accessories.  She and Tatia painted her night stands, and she wanted to paint her bed but hadn't had the time.  While we were here this week, we painted it and it turned out SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!  We are thrilled with how it turned out.

A closer view of the armoire, although it is not as red as this picture looks, the other picture is the true color.

She also bought this cool bedspread, so she has one for summer, the beach one, and one for the rest of the year.  She is amazing!!!!

We stopped by today to wish Miles a Happy Birthday and say good bye to Uncle Mike who is heading back home tomorrow.

We got there in time for birthday cake and to see Miles amazing Elmo Balloon and all his fun presents.  He is a darling little 2 year old birthday boy.

Then it was time to say good bye to our sweet little Penny.  We are really going to miss her, she is such a little doll.   Tomorrow we head out to Houston for Mikey and Hannah's wedding.  All of Mike's sibblings will be there, Paula and Bob and Mike's mom are flying  in tomorrow.  Mike's dad is already here, and Sterling and his family as well as Steven are all meeting us in Houston to stay at the same hotel.  It will be fun to see everyone.
