A day at the beach

When Krista and Matt arrived, we found out that Hailey and Aida had been sick the whole way to California.  The sickness has really gone around our family.  Kelsi missed Logan's birthday party being sick, then Molly and Abbie got it, then Sophie, then Hailey and Aida.  Krista woke up Saturday morning not feeling well, and her girls were still not great, so they opted to swim in the pool and not go to the beach.  Lani said she would prefer the pool to the beach so she stayed with them.   We missed them, but they had a fun time and got feeling better.  We went to Sunset Beach which is about 20 minutes away and had a great time.

There were some pretty good waves and the girls enjoyed jumping the waves

They turned Abbie into a mermaid, and a very cute one I might add!

and got quite a nice collection.

While out playing in the ocean, Jordan got stung by a sting ray.  OUCH!!!!  He had to sit with his foot in hot water to help relieve the pain.

Two other people got stung too, no fun.

After he recuperated from that, we called it a day and headed for home.
