Yesterday, we invited all our granddaughters to go to the zoo with us. We were able to get Krista and her girls, and Katie and Gabbie. Libbie was on a campout with her other grandma, and Emily wasn't feeling great and so they didn't come.
I haven't been to the zoo in a long time, and it is so much better than it used to be
It was fun to see the elephants, Zuri has gotten lots bigger, but is still much smaller than her mom and grandma.
They did an elephant show that we watched.
They had a bunch of lego animals on dispay, this is one with snakes.
This one had orange monkeys made out of legos.

They had a polar bear exhibit that was awesome. It was air conditioned and fun to watch him running around
The giraffes are getting a new home that will be ready sometime next year.
They had an activity where the kids could help make animal sounds with all kinds of musical equipment.
The fans with cool mist were amazing!
We were there in time for the AWESOME bird show!
The birds flew right over our heads, the girls totally loved it!
Even little Sophie woke up to watch the birds.

The best trick we've learned, is to end it with a carousel ride.
What a fun day at the zoo, we can't wait to go back with our other grandkids.
