Hailey, the Hogle Zoo bird trainer

On Monday, Hailey, Sophie, Mike and I went to the zoo with Jamie, Jordan and Logan.  We LOVE the bird show and this time we loved it even more.  Hailey got to go down in front of the audience and have a bird fly in and land on her hand and feed it.  It was pretty exciting, and she did a great job.  She might want to consider being a bird trainer when she gets a little older

The polar bear put on the best show for us.  He came right up to the glass, over and over, so we all got a great look at him.

Logan slept most of the way through the zoo in the stroller, and Sophie was awake for most of it.

Family Night at Millcreek Canyon

For Family Night on Monday, our family went to Millcreek Canyon for a picnic.  It was very crowded, and we felt SO BLESSED to get the very last spot there!  The guys made a fire and everyone had fun roasting hot dog and marshmallows for s-mores.

Our 3 big girls

Our three little girls

And our four babies, (not all girls) with their mommys.

Me and my six crazy girls!  (How cool is it that we all matched?)

Logan loved the mountains, he was a perfect angel.

Matt brought brauts for the guys and Jordan did a great job of roasting his.

It was a beautiful place, we love being in the mountains.

It was so fun to have our Georgia Cline's there to share this fun evening with us!

Logan's first trip to Utah!

On Friday, August 2nd, Jordan's family came to Utah.

It just happened to be Logan's 1 month birthday!

Here he is checking out our bouncer

Me and Logan

On Saturday, we invited all our kids and grandkids to come for lunch and get to meet Logan.

The girls were so excited to see him!

He was the center of attention for sure!

We had a delicious lunch, thanks to everyone for helping out!

Here's most of the grandkids right before we went swimming!

Logan was not sure he was going to like swimming, but he sure looked cute in his swimsuit and sun hat!

He really enjoyed the nice warm water in my friend Kelly's pool that she let us swim in.

It was the perfect day for a swim

Everyone had so much fun!

The big girls have all taken swimming lessons and are getting to be pretty good swimmers.

After swimming, Jamie read the girls stories.

Logan was all tuckered out after meeting all his cousins.  He had his best night sleep EVER!!!!!  He slept from 9:00 pm-3:00 am.  What a great little guy.  They have these super cool blankets that are called swaddle me, that have Velcro so you can wrap them up REALLY tight.  (I think he looks like a baby burrito)

On Sunday, Lani invited them to come to her primary class.  She was teaching a lesson on moms and dads and babies.  This was her first time to meet Logan.

While out in Sandy, he got to meet Gigi and grandpa

and Jeff and Jen

Logan has been practicing smiling

and is getting really good at it!

Sunday evening, all our kids and grandkids joined us for dinner.  It was so fun to have all of us together!

Charlie's family is in town

Mackenzie's little sister got married last weekend in California, and had a reception here on Saturday, so Charlie's family came to SLC for a quick trip.

They stayed at our house, so I invited Libbie to come for a sleepover.  She has adored Keelie ever since the first time she met her.   She named two of her dolls Keelie.  They had fun helping make cookies, don't forget to level the flour.

Then roll them into balls

Sooooo yummy with a glass of milk!

Saturday morning, I made cinnamon rolls and invited the family over to get to visit with Charlie and his family.

Jeff and the girls had fun jumping on the trampoline!

The kids LOVE the swingset
