We're on our way to DISNEYLAND!

For Christmas last year, we gave our kids and grandkids a trip to Disneyland the next summer.  We have waited and waited and waited, and it is FINALLY here!

Jamie was so cute to make all the kids Disney shirts for the trip.  We gave them to the kids for Christmas and that was how we told them we were going.

We invited Jamie, Jordan and Logan to come with us.  It was great to have a chauffeur!  Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

It wasn't long before Logan was asleep. After talking to the other travelers, we decided having 4 adults to entertain 1 baby was the way to go!  He was an AWESOME traveler!!!!

Jordan took over driving.

When we got to St. George we went to IN-N-OUT , YUM!

Then we went to mom and dad's condo.  Not long after we arrived, Jamie's family stopped by on their way.  They were spending the night in Las Vegas with Emily's aunt, but came to say hi!

Josh and Merijane got there late that night, so we didn't see them until morning.

We went to Bishops, a favorite spot of mom and dad's for breakfast.  Delicious!

Krista and her family and Lani left Friday morning and drove the whole way.  It was a VERY LONG DAY!
We arrived at the house about 5:00, it was very nice.
It had 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms a laundry room, a game room a kitchen and living room, just perfect for the 21 of us to stay and have fun!!!

It had a pool,

a hot tub and also a sauna, but the kids just used that as a play house.  (We didn't turn it on)

A fun play area for the kids.

These two were up between 5:00 and 5:30 every day.  I loved having company since I'm an early riser too!

There were legos and blocks to play with.

and hula hoops too!

It was so fun to have Lani along for our trip!  She helped the girls make jolly pops.

You arrange the jolly ranchers in whatever shape you want

and then bake them and walahhhhh,   yummy suckers!
Unfortunately, the girls ate the cute flower ones they made above before I took their picture.

Logan loved them

So did Kelsi and Gabbie

Lani also brought her nail polish and gave the girls manicures and pedicures.

She is great fun to have on a vacation!!!!!

Thanksgiving Point Museum of Natural Curiosity

Jamie called us the other day and said that his family and Josh's family were headed over to Thanksgving Point for a fun day.  Both his family and Josh's have passes there, and we had been wanting to check it out for ourselves.  It is such a fun place!  the girls loved making a house with GIANT legos.

Yes, that's Jordan, his family was still in California, but he joined in on the fun.

Outside they have a fun playground with a little zip line

The girls LOVED that!

They also had a splash pad that is a favorite place on a hot day!

Logan's 1st birthday party!!!!

I think Jamie has been planning Logan's first birthday party from the day she found out he was a boy!  She did amazing birthday parties for their dog Lexi, but this was incredible!!!!!  They sold their house in Georgia right before his birthday, so they were in a hotel, not around family or friends, so lucky for us, they decided to celebrate on Aug. 2 instead of July 2 when they got to back to Utah.  It was so much fun!  She did it at her grandparents house and decorated it all like a race track because Logan LOVES cars.  They decorated the front of the house.......

and the back of the house where the party was.  So cute!!!!

The snacks were very clever, she had oreo "spare tires,"  shis kabobs  that were red, yellow and green light like a traffic light, finish line snacks and traffic cone popcorn.

Then there was Radiator Springs water

or Anti Freeze to drink, as well as hot dogs and chips.

The kids loved all the yummy food.

It was so fun to see all the pictures of Logan from 1 month to 1 year!

They had a bean bag toss into spare tires

and a knock over the oil cans

and of course a race track to race cars down!

 I love Sophies cute ponies.

Everything was so fun!

The big girls had a great time running the games.

All the girls adore Logan

Dad and Lani came

She did two cakes, one for all of us to eat

and one for Logan to smash!

At first he wasn't sure what to do.

But it didn't take him long to figure it out!

What a cute little family!  Jamie made them all shirts for the party.
(She and Jordan were the pit crew)

We sure love this boy and are SO HAPPY they are back in town!!!

Jordan, Jamie and Logan are moving back!!!!

It was a very happy day when this moving van arrived because we knew Jordan and his family were not far behind.  Matt flew out to Georgia to drive one of Jordan's cars back home.  Jamie and Logan went to California to spend a few weeks with her family before moving to Utah.

We a re so glad to have them here!!!!!

Jordan brought Lexi with him, so we had her at our house for a week before they headed down to stay with Jamie's grandparents until the house they are renting was ready for them.  Hailey was the bravest of all the granddaughters with Lexi.

Jordan taught Hailey what to say to get Lexi to do some of her tricks.

She really had fun trying to get her to do what she wanted her to do!
