Kids say the darndest things!!!

Last night the girls were down playing in the play room. Libbie had on a pair of princess shoes that went with her princess dress. She took them off while she was playing and Hailey slipped them on her own feet. When Libbie noticed this she said "Hailey, those are my shoes, you have 2 choices, you can either give them to me, or I will take them from you......1, 2, 3 it was your choice, now I have to take them from you, and she did, and Hailey just let her do it. I guess even 4 year olds can use love and logic! (Merijane has been using it on Libbie and it sounds like she is learning how to use it too!!!)

Tonight on my way home from school I was visiting with Hailey. I got home and went in the house and she wanted to talk to Opi. I couldn't find him and she said, he is probably playing hide and seek, just say ready or not here I come. I still couldn't find him and she told me to go check under or behind the couch.

Fancy Nancy and her Family History

I found a fun new Fancy Nancy book about Family History. Tonight we had all our kids and grandkids over, and invited Grandpa Cline to join us for dinner. After dinner, we read the new book about Fancy Nancy's ancestors, and asked Grandpa Cline some questions about his ancestors. It was fun to hear about his parents and grandparents! We want to go visit the other great grandparents and have them tell some stories about their ancestors soon.

Dressing up for the Royal Wedding!

This has been an exciting week getting to watch all the hype about the Royal Wedding. The teachers at our school dressed up on Friday, and had a Royal Tea after school, it was so much fun! Saturday night we tended Jamie and Krista's girls and they always love dressing up when they come to our house. It is so funny, now even the tiny girls want to get in on the action. Aida came in carrying this dress and wanted to get all dressed up.

Abbie picked out a size 6 that was way too big. Luckily she was happy with a dress I found in the closet I had bought years ago. I can see I need to start watching for some smaller dress ups for these little gals!

Hailey is modeling a new favorite that I found last weekend.

And last, but certainly not least is Molly in the new spring line of dresses. They are so much fun!!!

What a difference a day makes!

This is what we woke up to on Saturday morning! I couldn't believe how much snow we got.

Hard to believe that a week ago we were taking pictures of the girls in our front yard and now.....

Well, as they say, "If you don't like the weather, just wait a few hours, this is the same day, about 8 hours later!

It looks like everything survived, what crazy spring weather we have in Utah!!!!

6 Beautiful girls in my flowers!!!

The Spring flowers are definitely out and in full bloom. Last Thurs. we had all the girls over for an early Easter lunch and photo shoot.

Josh took tons of pictures, and there wasn't one with everyone even looking at the camera, let alone smiling!

They all looked so cute in their new dresses, even if they wouldn't smile for the camera.

A baby shower for Elycia

Elycia is only about 6 weeks away from having her baby boy. Lani, mom and I gave her a baby shower tonight. It turned out really fun.

Robynn and Tatia figured out how to make the cutest Easter topiary, and shared the idea with mom, who taught me how to make it. Pretty amazing what you can do with a styrofoam ball and a bag of jelly beans! I loved it by the bunnies Emily gave me for my birthday.

We had a delicious dinner, Chinese Sundaes, orange rolls and brownies. So tasty!!!!

Mom gave her some tiny little onsies, a matching blanket and the cutest little stuffed monkey.

Here's the darling outfit that Jamie and Jordan sent.

Robynn and Tatia made the cutest diaper and wipes holder, they are so talented!

She got a darling swing from Kathy and her mom. There were so many fun presents, that tiny Birks boy is going to be in good shape!!! Thanks everyone for coming.
