A day at Gateway Discovery

Monday was my first day of Christmas break. To celebrate, I invited Molly and Hailey to go with me to the Discover at Gateway. (I knew I would never be able to keep track of all 3 big girls, so I'm taking Libbie and Hailey on Wednesday) We all had such a great time. After 4 hours, they were not even close to being ready to go. There are so many fun things to do. Lots of cars to test drive.

They wanted to try them all out

The grocery store is always a fun place to hang out.
Of course Molly wanted the food on the top shelf!

She drove the tractor into the store to load up her groceries.

Molly was brave and rode the horse, her hands are full of potatoes that she was feeding him.

Hailey got brave and tried climbing the rock wall, hold on tight Hailey!!!!

They had lots of new things to do like these cool plastic puzzle blocks.

There are so many fun things with magnets.

There were some new letters we had never seen before.

They had some new gears that were fun to put together and turn.

Thanks for making my first day of Christmas break so much fun!!!!

Cline's Christmas Party

Tonight was our Cline Christmas Party. Unfortunately, Krista and Aida were sick, so we sure missed their family. We had a wonderful dinner! Spiral sliced ham, Grandma Cline made her famous yams and coleslaw, Paula made delicious AuGratin potatoes, Jenny made a yummy green bean casserole, Emily and Jamie, made a fancy green salad, Jamie and Jordan brought egg nog, I made orange rolls, and Josh and Merijane made tasty brownies that we topped with peppermint ice cream and chocolate sauce. Sure wish you all could have been here to celebrate with us. It was so fun to see Paula, Bob and Jenny, we don't get to see them very often, even though they live pretty close.

Grandma Cline had the softest adorable Teddy Bears you have ever seen for the 3 tiny girls. They will love snuggling with those when they go to bed!

She gave the big girls their own keyboards, they had so much fun playing with them, I think they will be great piano players one day.

Molly loves her keyboard too!!!!

The gift of cash always puts a smile on the older kids faces!

What shall we spend it on??????

Paula, Bob, and Jenny were able to come, but Eric was out of town with work.

Jenny gave Grandma a wonderful, warm snuggie blanket!

Merry Christmas

Here is the Christmas card we sent out this year to family and friends. It is fun to look back on the last few years, and see how our family has grown. We have really been blessed, with each addition. We love them all so much and are so thankful for the 10 who have joined our family in the last 6 years.

Our first movie date with the big 3!

On Friday evening, Lani, Mom and I took Libbie, Hailey, and Molly to see the Princess and the Frog. The girls were GREAT, and the movie was very cute. We didn't know if Molly would be old enough to make it through, but she was so nice. We really had a fun time! Thanks for the idea Lani.

Hailey's preschool Christmas Program

Tonight was our first school program to go to as Grandparents! What a fun time we had watching Hailey and her friends perform the Christmas songs they had been working on. After the program, they got to talk to Santa. When he asked Hailey what she wanted for Christmas, she told him a Tinkerbell tooth brush. (don't we wish all kids were as easy to please as she is!!!

Aida had no idea who was holding her, we were afraid
she might be a little nervous if she saw Santa.

They sang lots of cute Christmas songs!

He knows when you are sleeping, he knows when you're awake!!!!

December 6, 2009 Abbie's blessing day

Our sweet little Abbie was blessed today, and she looked absolutely darling, in the blessing dress Emily's mom made for her. It is out of silk and the bodice is all smocked, so amazing! Jamie gave her a beautiful blessing, and then they invited us all for a delicious lunch after at their home. They had lots of family, and it was a very fun day! Abbie was absolutely perfect.

Stacy was so cute to bring her camera and take these pictures of Abbie.

What a darling little family!

There's no place like home for the Holidays!

Aren't the holidays the best? I have my upstairs all
decorated and looking very festive. Lani and I went
to Mom's on Saturday, and got her house looking
beautiful too. Here are some pictures of my house
all decked out for Christmas.

I LOVE the new family pictures Stacy took and the
Beautiful new frames from the kids for Christmas!

Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas!

Christ is the reason for the season

Jamie and Jordan gave me the darling Christmas Carolers for Christmas last year.

Krista was so sweet to come and decorate my tree for me!
