This week my school was performing Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Quite a few of my students were in it, and I thought it would be fun to take our big girls to see it. Unfortunately, Molly was in Arizona with her family so she wasn't able to come with us, but Libbie and Hailey were available, so off we went. Before the play, we took them to dinner at Fat Cats, a fun pizza place near my school. They have the most amazing and tasty breadsticks that are really on a stick, soooo yummy!!!
They had a play ground to help get some of their energy out before the play
Look out Below!!!!
I was so impressed with Libbie and Hailey. They LOVED the play and sat and watched the entire performance. I thought we might end up needing to leave at the intermission, but they were totally entertained!
Shelbie was one of the workers in the chocolate factory. She was in my class that did the preschool, and both of the girls remembered her because she was so sweet to them, and she remembered their names when we saw her after the play!
They got to pose with Lindsay, who was our favorite oompa loompa.
Here they are with one of my students Brooke, who was a squirrel.
Thanks girls for making it such a fun night for me and Opi!!!!
