The Bigs and Middles Christmas getaway

This weekend we had our get away with most of the Bigs and Middles.  Hailey wasn't able to be there because she is serving her mission in Texas, and Katie wasn't feeling well enough to come.  We missed them both!

Our first stop was the bowling ally.  Then we went to Zupas for dinner, so yummy!

We checked into our hotel and played a fun game Molly brought  and watched a movie.

I brought plenty of snacks.

The next morning we ate breakfast at the hotel and dropped Mike off at home.  Then we headed to the Bead Fairy.

The girls had looked on Pintrest to find ideas for the bracelet they wanted to make.

Libbie on the left made a pearl one, Abi is next to Libbie and chose all kinds of cool beads, then Molly  made one with pearls and navy blue beads, and Aida made one with gold, pink and pearls.  They were all so unique and pretty!    We had lunch at Chick Fil A before everyone headed home.  We had a wonderful time with these sweet girls.  We are so blessed.

 

My 70th birthay

I remeber when 70 used to seem sooooo OLD!  Well, it doesn;t seem old at all to me now. 😂  I started my day by serving at the temple, always a great start to the day!  Mike and I went to the Cheesecake Factory for a delicious lunch.

Then we took all our kids, all our grandkids that could make it, and Lani to Leatherbys for Banana Splits.

There were 21 of us and we got the party room.

Jordan's family were all able to come.

Krista's family minus Hailey on her mission and Aida at Cosmotology school.

Josh's family minus Jack at activity days and Katie who wasn't feeling well.

Jamie's family minus Molly at BYU.  What a fun night!

 

Molly's Temple Day

Molly has been wanting to go through the temple since December, when she turned in her mission papers.  She was finally able to find a day that worked for everyone she wanted to have there with her.  What a great day February 28th was!  

All of our kids were able to be there, and all of our daughter in laws.  Unfortunatly, Matt wasn't feeling well, so he couldn't be there.  So great to be in the temple with all of them and Lani.
