For Christmas, Jamie and Jordan gave us a date night with them, to Comedy Sportz, one of their favorite places to go when they were dating. As a matter of fact, Comedy Sportz was their first date, and while we were sitting there, we figured out that it was EXACTLY 7 years ago that night. They had a contest while we were there that Jamie won and got tickets for them to go back again, so they went the next night too!
We got to stay for a sleepover, so fun!!!
To celebrate Martin Luther King day, Mike and I took our 6 oldest granddaughters to see Annie. We all absolutely LOVED it. What a fun couple of hours! I don't think I stopped smiling during the whole show.
All our family came for dinner Sunday, and the girls talked us in to letting them stay for a sleepover. They didn't bring extra clothes and had come dressed in kinda random stuff. Abbie came in her PJ's and Libbie in comfy sweats, (about 2 inches too short) Aida and Hailey in their church clothes, Aida with flip flops and tights, Hailey with pink heels and red tights. (NOT the shoes they had worn to church.) Anyway, to say the least, we were quite the crew when we walked into the movie theater. Luckily, it was a show about orphans, so we fit right in.
