A week ago, Molly called me on the phone and wondered if she could plan a sleepover for the girls at my house. I told her if she wanted to organize it, I would be glad to host it. She called all the girls, and made a plan. Our 6 big girls all spent the night on Friday.
What a fun time we had!
We made homemade mac and cheese, which is their favorite. Some of them like potato chips on top, and some like the crunchy onion rings on top, so we did half and half. After dinner we watched a fun Barbie movie, then the little girls slept upstairs in the nursery, and the big girls slept in the sleepover room.
At about 7:30 in the morning I could tell the big girls were awake, so I went down to see what they were up to. They were all piled on one of the beds reading Fancy Nancy.
What cute girls!!!!
They played for a while, then while the little girls were still playing, the big girls came and helped me get the table set for breakfast. It is so nice to have helpers!
We had yummy crepes for breakfast.
After breakfast, we did a little painting project. They painted wooden hearts.
Abbie got more paint on the paper, than on the heart!
Here's one all painted
Then we glued a plug cover on the back to make a Valentine outlet cover.
Here's mine that Lani gave me years ago that I got the idea from.
They also painted some little tiny heart fridge magnets.
I forgot to take pictures of them, but here are mine, (theirs were much fancier than mine!)
I had a brilliant inspiration to have their moms pack the girls snow clothes, so after breakfast, they put them on and went outside to make a snowman.
It was obvious, they had done this before.
I couldn't believe how fast they put this Snow Lady together!
They had to cut branches from our tree for arms
With a little teamwork
They made a whole snow family!
Mom, dad and 3 kids!
Before long it was time to go, we sure had a great time. Thanks Molly for getting it all organized!
I loved this picture of Gabbie and Kelsi inside my fridge looking for a snack for the ride home!
